Feeling a bit weird today

Anyone else had this. I’m not due until 4th May, so 37+2 today but feeling a bit weird today. I really don’t feel like baby is far away. I woke up crying because my hip was just so so painful, my almost 3yr old was in our bed and pulled my hair so hard because I wasn’t facing him 😩. I cried so much. Managed to do the nursery run ok (I walk about 35-40mins total and my mum had to rescue me in the car on Monday because my hip kept “popping” and was so so painful!) then I got home, went to the loo (which didn’t seem normal, tmi) and then had the tiniest bit of pink spotting on the tissue, I have a slight headache, a bit sick, I just feel weird, a bit like you do before a period. I am having braxton hicks but I don’t think they’re following a pattern. Not sure if I’m just panicking a bit though and need to relax

I have just 3 more days of work, and my keyboard, mouse and WiFi were just playing up, a sign telling me to give up?

We’ve also just moved in to our house and there’s still so much to do before baby arrives, we’re doing well but he can’t come yet!

Anyone else had this? I’m also not sure whether to call triage about the spotting, it was the teeniest amount of pale pink spotting and I’ll keep an eye on it obviously. I’m on my own, everyone is at work and I’d have to wait until my husband is home from work (about lunchtime) to go anywhere to be checked out.

C-Section Date

Hey!!

I am having an elected C-section for a few reasons but one being my anxiety.

I was initially told I would get a date around 39 weeks but I’ve just been told it could be 41 weeks instead.

It’s really shocked me as I think this runs a risk of her coming naturally as well as now adding 2 weeks to her due date (39 weeks now being 41).

Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to manage this kind of news and how their c-section date booking went?

Please note - I’m aware I could get a date and it be moved due to emergencies but I didn’t expect this huge change.

12 week scan - so clinical

Hello,

I’ve just had my 12 week scan. When we started baby was doing a head stand, so had to walk around for 30 minutes. When I came back, the baby was still in an unfavourable position, but could just about get measurements after doing an internal scan. I came out feeling a bit disheartened as she didn’t really say much during the scan, or after, to make me feel reassured everything was fine. I had to ask her after if everything was ok and she just said yes all fine. Am I just overthinking things or did anyone else find it just so “clinical” and one in one out kind of thing. It’s a shame because I’ve had some private scans and I was made to feel so comfortable and reassured there, but the NHS scan just made me come out with anxiety even though nothing was said to be wrong.

I had my anatomy scan today and found out I’m having a boy 🩵 would have been over the moon either way but I’ve been convinced for the past 2 months that it was a boy so it feels good to be right haha 🥹 anterior placenta so still not feeling many movements at this stage but he is ACTIVE! Wouldn’t stop moving and kicking at the scan 😅

Breech position

Hey everyone!
Had my 36 week scan today and found out baby is in breech position :( after some discussion, me and my husband decided to go for a planned c section. Anyone going through the same? X

Middle Name Inspiration

I have to register my baby in two weeks, but still haven’t decided on the middle name. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of giving her something of a biblical meaning. But I’m open to other types of names too (just something with a nice meaning) x

Early labour or BH?

FTM 39 weeks + 2. Last night I had waves of tightening across my belly with mild period and lower back pain. Lasted a couple of hours and came sporadicly but stopped around 4 am and not happened since. Could this be early labour or just BH? I know early labour can stop and start. Had lots of BH last few days but not with any pain. Also not noticed loss of my mucus plug but baby is low and engaged.
