I am 3 months pp, I am back to work. I have a 2 year old and 3 month old. I work from home but I have to be on the phones. I live pay check to pay check, so I can’t quit. If I get a call that they can hear my son, I’m fired. I have tried so hard to do everything right, and yet I live a shitty fucking life. My kids are literally the reasons I am still here. Idk what to do, I can’t afford day care nor do I want to. I just had a full break down, crying, and screaming. Idk what to do.

I am so sorry. I don’t have advice but I can tell you that you are a good mom and your kids are lucky to have you. It will get easier! Do what you need to to get through, lean into TV or interactive toys. Your district might have low or no cost preschool starting at age 3

Take a breath.
Breathe. Deeply. Look your eyes up. Then left without moving your head. Then right without moving your head.
Try that again.
That tells your brain there is no immediate threat right here so you can calm your nerves.
You have options. You are not stuck.
There is help and yes childcare is expensive but there are scholarships and financial assistance available. See what resources your town and county offer.
You don’t need to do it all yourself. People do want to help you.
This is hard.
But not impossible.
There is help. Promise.
I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Oh and being pp makes every little thing seem enormous. Remember your hormones and feelings aren’t always reflecting reality.
I’ve been having bigger than normal feeling s and reminding myself this helps me for sure. Okay, this is a wave it will pass.
Then it does. 🫶
