Unsure on what to do with my relationship.

I really don’t know what to do in terms of where I go with my relationship with my partner. Im starting to feel fed up extremely now. First of all there is absolutely no affection, no sex, no kissing, no cuddling, no hugs. I feel like we are just roommates with a baby at this point. I cant be vulnerable around him because he just completely dismisses my feelings with everything. The relationship absolutely bores me. Alls he does is come home and sleep. Doesn’t help with anything, doesn’t really take me on, doesn’t really take our 9 month old on. I feel really sorry for my son. Says he loves me and every time Ive tried to leave he begs me not to but alls I can feel is he feels the opposite to what he is telling me and honestly now Im questioning whether I love him or not. I don’t really want to sleep in the same bed as him anymore. I feel like what is the point? Ive spent some nights even more so recently on the couch because I cant sleep knowing he is there. Resentment has just been growing since our son was born and some reasons I know why but I don’t know how it has got so bad. All he is focused on is money. I stay home with my son because he isn’t in nursery yet and we have no other options and cant get him in till September so I have no money at all. He has 5,500 coming in a month and not a single penny is given to me to pay the bills that go out of my account. Ive been living off of compensation money. Just to add I have paid for TWO of his vehicles with my compensation money from when I was raped before we met and not got a penny back either even though he knows I have nothing. It never feels like we work as a team when I feel like it should be but If I ask him for any money it’s the same argument of well you should work for your money. What does he expect me to do? Split myself in two? Keeps talking about having more kids with me and proposing to me but never has sex with me and apparently doesn’t have enough money to propose like what? He only pays the rent at 450 a month and then pays insurance on his van at 50 a month. Where is all the rest of this money going from 5,500/6000 grand a month. He is always on the phone with friends when he isn’t sleeping I wouldn’t mind but he sleeps all through the night and Im constantly up with my son and have always done the night wakes with him so Im exhausted as well. Its like he does everything possible to just pretend we aren’t there, to not interact with us.

I’ve been there and living this hell now. Have been for over 21 years. I stayed for the kids and because I had no where I could go and take them with me. I didn’t work until these past 2 years. I had numerous affairs, because all he did was push me away. I opened the marriage in Dec. He started talking to multiple women and within weeks was telling them that he loved them sending nudes to them and was going to move out and be with the one of them. Come to find out “she” was fake and scammed him out of $1500. This isn’t the first time either about three years ago he was blackmailed for sending those same kind of pictures for over $3000. Unfortunately I read it all and he couldn’t deny any of it.. He said the most awful things and was so disrespectful about me. Please honey try to get as out as soon as you can. He’s trying to trap you. RUN!

Sounds a lot like my ex husband. I’m so thankful I don’t have a kid with him and I genuinely feel for you and your son. I started sleeping on our couch with one of our dogs and we fought all the time. There was no affection either. For months. I could never do or be enough for him and whenever I tried to be he dismissed me and my efforts. I eventually had enough once the emotional had turned physical and I emotionally checked out. He’s my ex for a reason and I genuinely hope you’re able to get out for you and your son. It’s so much more difficult when you have a kid involved so I hope you’re able to find the resources you need for the both of you.

Nursery pick up

Just wondering what I’m doing wrong or if anyone else is in the same boat ☹️

My son absolutely loves nursery, however whenever I pick him up as soon as he sees me walk into the building he screams the place down, smacks me multiple times and throws himself around when I try to pick him up him up and comfort him. It just makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong, all the other mums have their kids run up to them for a massive hug and they happily go off with their mum but with my son he acts so different, it’s so embarrassing and I’ve had a few dirty looks for it, I honestly feel like crying everytime we leave the building, I just don’t know what to do, as soon as we get home his back to being my best friend again☹️

Was this rude and immature?

My brother, his partner and their baby came to visit us. We cooked fajitas. When my brothers partner got here she asked what we had for lunch. We told her we made fajitas. She started whining and complaining saying she doesn’t want that, and that she want rice and proper food. So much so that we put some rice on the cooker and my husband went out to buy her some plantain which we fried for her. Was she rude and childish for this?

How to give to 7m old??

So how would you give a sausage to a 7 month old? Solid starts says this but for example we have sausage and roasted veg quite a bit in our house as an easy dinner (fresh veg as well which is mainly what our baby has) but I like him to be able to do it himself - so am I being right that the only way you can give sausage is crumbled???

I swear my daughter was munching on whole sausages but I could be way ahead of myself here!!

MIL making weird comments...

My mother-in-law and I have a good relationship overall. In fact, my baby, my partner, and I are currently living with her temporarily. She has welcomed us very warmly and been quite supportive. She's not the most maternal person I know tho, that's for sure. Besides my partner, she has another son, an 8yo, and seeing how she is with him helps me understand a lot about my partner and his avoidant attachment style (since she isn't very loving and caring.
But my problem is that she uses a language I don't like when referring to both her son and mine. For example, sometimes she tells her son he's being an idiot when he's tired or hungry. Sometimes she calls him unbearable. She's never yelled at him, at least not in my presence, but I don't like that kind of language she uses with both her son and my baby. When she asks how did we slept, and we didn't sleep very well, she also calls him an idiot or unbearable, and it bothers me. I don't know how to deal with it because I don't know what to even say to her either.
But today something happened that upset me a bit. This morning, my baby was in his high chair, and she came up behind him, so he arched his back and I turned my head back to see her stretching his neck a lot. She came closer and, in a sweet tone, started running her hand along his neck, saying, "I'm going to cut your little neck, I'm going to cut your little neck!" My partner was behind me, so I didn't see his reaction. I was washing the dishes and I was stunned. I didn't know what to say because she said it in a playful or tender tone, but it didn't seem appropriate AT ALL. But she was saying it with such a sweet and playful voice, that I didn't say anything.
Has anyone else had to deal with a similar situation and can share advice on how to handle this?

Start of solids “baby weetabix”

Hi all, the pediatritian yesterday recommended us to start solids with the baby version of weetabix mixed with breastmilk. He said a specific name for this baby weetabix thing but neither me or my husband manage to remember. Anyone knows what this thing is???

How often do you say "I'm tired of this grandpa" or some other common chronicly online saying.

Admittedly I do this sort of thing often.
