What are people doing when they’re out all day with your kid and they need a nap?? Are peoples babies so chill that they actually nap anywhere?

I feel like my kid would need to be held or have a quiet space to chill out because he gets so hype by the stuff around him he won’t actually go to sleep and skip his nap.

I really want to go out for the day with him but it’s hard to plan with his nap!

Any suggestions on helping him sleep when we are out? He hates his car seat and won’t sleep in it unless he really has no choice and we happen to be lucky with him temperament that day. He’s not been the biggest fan of his stroller either lately after awhile. He just doesn’t like not being able to move and get comfy.

I have no advice, just came here to say I’m in the same boat. I think some kids are just more sensitive to stimuli than others.

My son usually will sleep in the baby carrier. Is that an option for you guys? We use a tula toddler carrier and front carry. Sometimes if hes asleep for a while I can transfer him to the wagon.

Struggling to go out with baby

Hi! Ftm to a 3.5 month old and tbh haven’t really gone out of the house with baby except with my husband. I get really bad anxiety and the thought of going out alone with baby is so hard to handle.

I’m also embarrassed that I don’t even know how to use our stroller/car seat. I’ve tried practicing putting baby in and out of car seat and into car but I’m scared if I don’t know what to do if I can’t handle it by myself when I go out. Also haven’t met any mom friends.

And also wake windows? Naps? How do I deal with all this when going out? I just feel so lost and alone in this. Any advice or comments to know I’m not alone.

Baby routines

My baby is 14 weeks old and still in no routine as such. He typically goes to bed at 8.30-9pm and we have a wind down routine from 7pm. But he wakes up at different times and has never slept through. He doesn’t nap at the same time each day and everything is very much baby led. I read about people who have routines and their baby sleeps though.
What’s your experience? I feel like I’m quite a disorganised person and feel bad if it’s on me not being more structured!

Screaming while burping

Does anyone else’s 13 week old scream the place down like you’re murdering them the second you take the bottle out of their mouth to burp them?

Mam bottles sterilising

Hiya silly question…are we meant to clean the condensation from the mam bottles after self sterilising in the microwave?

Or do we assemble and put milk in as they are?
