Am I at the end of my breastfeeding journey?

Someone please help me... I didn't feel ready to be at the end our our journey, my lo is 15 months... The last few weeks I've really noticed it affecting my head every time she feeds as it's usually a fight to stop her twiddling the other side. Results in her getting frustrated... Naps get missed and then I dread nighttime... She does it for comfort but I literally cannot do a nothing to stop her... It has now gotten to the point every time she latches on I'm an emotional wreck crying. I get so frustrated when she tries to twiddle, Im trying to hold onto the fact it's probably just a phase but I don't know if it's starting to affect my mental state too much that I should consider weaning?

Please tell me I'm not the only one😭

My 17 month old shoves her hands in my mouth and grabs at my face, not quite the same I know. Are you able to hide the other boob? Or see if you can buy a fake boobie 🤷‍♀️ Otherwise you could try listening to music (headphones) or try deep breathing etc., maybe reward yourself every feed.
Solidarity with their frustrating behaviour whilst feeding 🫂

Why do people have such audacity?!

On vacation with my husband & our youngest baby (10 months). We’re walking down the street & this older lady sees my baby walking & asks how old she was & I answer. Then she says look at that hair & touches her head then immediately pats me on the back & says congratulations. While I’m sure there was good intent, why do random people feel entitled to touching a strangers baby?! It happened so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to react before realizing what had transpired. Would this peeve you?

Night wakes

Please help😔 my 8 mo has always been a good sleeper, with maybe one wake up through the night but a quick soothe or dummy would send her back to sleep.

At the moment she is waking up shortly after putting her down screaming, I calm her down and get her back to sleep or she will self soothe. She’s then waking again every night for 2-3 hours straight between 1 and 5am and I do not know what to do. I’ve tried everything, cuddles, getting in her cot with her, calpol & ibruprofen (she’s teething), chilled teething rings, Ashtons teething powder, gels everything.

She wakes up screaming, I’ll soothe her but then she just screams bloody murder if I walk out her room so I’m literally sitting in her room with her during the night and I’m exhausted.

I really don’t want to co sleep because I don’t want her to get used to being back in our room then having more issues down the line with her not settling in her room because she’s done so well adapting to being in there

Anyone have any tips or tricks to get them back to sleep? She’s literally wide awake, I’ll try anything at this point, it’s really upsetting me how sad she is during the night😔

Jabs

Hi!
My little boy had his first set of jabs and I was just wondering what everyone did medication wise - we did a dose of calpol straight after and I’ve been adding colostrum to his milk. I plan on doing a bath with a bit of breast milk in the morning too.
I know he’s only allowed 4 doses of calpol in a day but how long did you give calpol for? Just the day? Two days?
He’s been teary and fussy since (although he was pretty fussy anyway) how long did you find for your little one to be back to feeling themselves?

First 24hrs of breast feeding

I will be going to the midwife today. Please can someone else describe their fist 24hrs breast feeding please so I can get a general idea or if it’s just the way I’m doing it what’s causing it to be soo painful.
Have been using stored colostrum overnight

Baby gas

Anyone else dealing with infant gas? My baby is 1 month old and grunts a lot and becomes restless. I tried probiotic and gripe water. It seems to work, but not sure how often can I use it. Any other recommendations?

Car seats

I’m so sorry if this is a stupid question but I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby. What happens with car seats in the back of the car? My other two are still in car seats they are nearly 4 & 2? Where will the new born car seat go? Am I being stupid?🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂😂
