My baby is 20 months and I still couldn’t be less interested. My husband is great, works super hard, and is incredibly caring but he struggles with the day to day intimacy. Just the odd hug, kiss etc.
I feel strange initiating anything when we’re both so tired, with completely fried nervous systems. Life stress has been higher than usual too.
I know he’d happily welcome it, if I initiated. But I just want to be STILL! Is that weird?? I feel like right now it’s just another demand. And the list is so long already.

I think a mindset shift could help. See it like adding gas to the car, depositing money in bank, or any other thing that feeds the spirit and soul. Physical intimacy is another aspect of a marriage that makes the union so unique. Its a place where only you and your husband can provide or engage in. Its feeds your sense of wellbeing and feeds you and your marriage which spills over into your kid lives and other areas. Just take the time to connect. Hug, kiss, embrace, and occasionally go all the way. See if u see some changes!

Your body is still healing and regulating your hormones postpartum. I would look into checking your hormones. Prebiotics/probiotics also help a lot but you do have to take them consistently for 2-3weeks to see a difference. There’s other natural remedies too.
