Periods

How did pregnancy change your periods after you’d had your baby?

I used to have very painful cramps prior to having a child and now I have no cramps but very heavy bleeding😩

My period before use to be extremely painful, the first and sometimes the second day I would be on painkillers and have to just lay in bed with light bleeding - after having a baby my cramps disappeared completely but same as you heavy bleeding - I’ll take heavy bleeding over the cramps any day😭3 years on since having my son and still the same

My period became more regular but I get ovulation pain. I'm now 4 weeks pp again. Be interested to see if any different this time

I went from having 26 day cycle with an easy 4 day bleed, to having nothing but clots and they come when they feel like it....then again that could be peri menopause 🤣
But after birth I did have to have a colposcopy to clear a hormone imbalance on my cervix

Vaginal or C-Section preference?

Just looking for people's experiences who may have had both a vaginal and a c section? I had a vaginal birth for my first. I struggled very badly with contractions, but the birth part was okay and had second degree tears. Walking straight after and recovery good.

C section has crossed my mind just because I hated contractions that much haha! But I keep telling myself the recovery would be harder, and its easier to just go through the pain with a vaginal and once baby is out, its over. Whereas c section may not hurt to get baby out, but harder recovery (haven't experienced so presuming).

Whats everyone's experiences?

Why

Why are most people wanting to start to try and induce labour earlier that 37 weeks 🥴 it honestly baffles me 😅 I get people want to meet their babies but geez babies are still developing and growing.

Suddenly really poorly post section

I am 4 weeks post section now and I have got a raging fever, headache, body aches and feel sick. Could this be related to my scar? Should I go in?
