Hi moms! My LO is just over 6 months old. We transitioned him to his nursery and crib full time at night about 3 weeks ago. For the first two weeks he did amazing and slept through the night with no issues from 7:30pm to 6:30am. This last week he’s been waking up at various times and will NOT go back to sleep in his crib. He will fall asleep in my arms if I hold him or rock him back but the minute I put him down he flails his arms and cries so hard. If I pick him up he stops and sometimes we just put him in bed with us and he sleeps the rest of the night.
He recently got a nanny 2 times a week, but I’m home working (so I am still around), he also started to sit up solo a lot more and trying out new toys more.
I can’t tell if he’s having a “I need my mom” phase at night, or is all the learning stimulating his brain so much.
I don’t want to create a habit that he sleeps in our bed even though he’s only 6 months old.

When my son started doing this I'd pat his back until he fell asleep on me and when I transferred him I would continue to pat his back in the crib to keep him asleep, then I would slowly lighten the pats until almost non existent and stop then sneak out lol. It was the only thing that worked for us but I know every baby is different and it may not work, but is worth a shot!

My daughter does this when her dad is at work. And I spray some of his cologne near her bed and on a stuffy and it works! Could be a scent thing
