Very fussy baby help

Not sure what else I can do at this point. My little one does not settle for more than 20 minutes in an evening. He is fed, he is given infacol and well winded, we regularly check his nappies and I have taken him out for walks. He sleeps for the walk and as soon as I get back in, he kicks off again. Any advice is greatly recommended

Welcome to the witching hours 🫠🫠 it's really normal and honestly the hardest part of newborn phase.

Inconsolable crying for several hours every day. Not fun. But it does pass. It starts as early as 2 weeks and peaks about 4-6 weeks then gets better.

Hang in there ā¤ļøā¤ļø

Pop some head phones in and crank the music up. Take baby for a walk or a drive in the car. It does pass. Make sure if you've got your other half there you take it in turns to listen to the crying. If you're on your own it is OK TO PUT BABY DOWN WHILE CRYING AND STEP OUT for a few minutes ā¤ļø

This phase is about survival. You're not doing anything wrong. It's very VERY normal.

Also worth having a look at the "fourth trimester" baby doesn't realise they are separate from you yet. Wanting to be held is normal and healthy. We are carrying mammals. Biology means we carry our babies to keep them safe and help them regulate their body temp, heart rate, breathing, digestion, everything. Xxx

One more thing... You're not making a rod for your own back and baby isn't manipulating you in any way. Baby is just looking for you to support them ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

You're doing amazing xxx

Baby sleep consultants have made an industry out of exhausted mums wanting a ā€˜fix’ to their babies sleep, even though there’s no such thing

Breast pumps

Hi, I'm a first time mum and would like to breastfeed. I'm 23weeks and trying to buy along the way, to spread the cost and not leave everything until the last min as I'm anxious about birth.

I want to get a portable breast pump as we have an active lifestyle. What does everyone recommend? Preferably something that won't break the bank 😊

Prams !!

Currently 22/40 with our first baby!! We plan on having 2 under 2, would it make sense to purchase a double stroller to avoid a secondary cost with the second bay?

Do you wipe your baby each time when changing nappies if there is only pee?

It's bc the wipes are cold and my baby cries when I use them at night time :(

How many words does your 15MO say?

This post is not to put anyone or their baby down especially if that baby is having difficulties I’m just curious how many words other children My daughterā€˜s age are saying because she surprises me. She’s been saying words since she was about 2 1/half months old it started with little words like go out dad mama and she’s already at the point where she’s repeating random words out of nowhere I didn’t think kids started doing that till they were a bit oldershe says far more than 25 words at this point I couldn’t even name them all and like I said every day she says something new she repeats words out of nowhere and I didn’t think a kid that young really started repeating repeating words, unless they’ve sat down and it’s been worked with saying that word but she’ll just say things out of nowhere. She’s already starting to try to put two words together and at her doctors appointment yesterday her doctor told me that that’s actually a skill for two-year-olds what do y’all think and how much is your 15 month old saying?
