Co sleeping

Mommas who co slept from newborn. Are you still co sleeping or when did you transition to the crib or bassinet? I love sleeping with my daughter bedside me, but I know eventually my hubby is going to want some, bc it’s been so long. I don’t know how to get over the anxiety of leaving my little girl sleeping in a bassinet or another room by herself. How did you start? What helped? Good sleep sacks? Sound machines? I’m just getting over a horrible neck cramp that made it so I couldn’t turn my head right without turning my entire body to look right. That was my sigh to stop I think. My daughter is 5 months. Any advice is appreciated thank you so much.

At five months we had her in her next 2 me and sometimes in our bed. She’s now 16months and she starts the night in her own room so my husband and I can have some time together and then her first wake up I bring her back in our room into her travel cot. If she wakes again I take her in our bed. I let her nap in her room and start the night there so she gets used to being in there

I am 9 months in and still co sleep, me and my partner dont have sex in the bed, we set her up at night and have her in the monitor, then we sleep together on the sofa, or literally everywhere else in the house...when the time comes, I plan on having her day naps in the cot, and then putting her down flr her first stint of the night, and eventually having her in a cot longer and longer, but im in no rush to be honest

We co slept for 6 months, then moved her into her room with a floor bed so I could sleep with her. Spent by nights with him then when ready for bed with to sleep with her, 6 years we done that and it worked really well for us, everyone got full nights sleep from 4 months old. Now repeating with my second baby but plan to move at 6 months to baby room and stay with them till 1 x

Co slept for 13 months because I loved every second of it, I now start her off in my bed with me and then move her into her travel cot next to my bed. We have a plug in nightlight next to her so I can just see her enough but it’s not bright. I’m not ready for her to be in her own room, before I know it she won’t want anything to do with me so I’m soaking it up big time🤣. Took a full two weeks to transition, but now she will go the whole night in the cot and get into bed with me from 6:30-9am x

Did the sleep trend change while i wasnt looking?

From my perspective, 4-5 years ago everyone was all about schedules and structures and Moms On Call and ferber method sleep training. As soon as my son was born early 2025, it felt like a huge shift in attitude. People were horrified / thought we were idiots for being on a schedule, i have been insulted for not baby wearing, and i have been talked to by MANY people like im a neglegent mother for rarely contact napping or bed sharing or when we started ferber.

Judge away if you must, maybe its always been this way, but it really feels like there was a huge shift in how we mamage contact and sleep.

What age was your first child when you had your second?

What age do think is best for your child to be before you have another one?

I can’t believe some of you let your babies watch Ms Rachel 🤬

Instead of letting your babies sit in front of the telly watching Ms Rachel…
Try educational alternatives like Deal or no Deal, we’re having a blast 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tantrums ( terrible 1s)

Hey ladys

What are we doing about tantrums? I have 18 month old twins and if its not one its the other. I do my best to give them what they need and want, Iv been told to stay calm, ignore them, give them a toy. And most of the time, all their needs will be met. Does anyone have any hacks I can try? And will this every go away?

Day naps

Where do I put my little one to sleep in the day? He’s almost 4 months & outgrown the Moses basket which I had downstairs, but I’m told I can’t put him in a room without me during the day

Transition from next to me cot to bedroom

So my little one is 4 months, and she’s a big girl! She’s starting to outgrow her next to me but I’m worried she’s too little to be in her own room yet (tbh it’s more I’m not ready yet) but when did you guys move baby to their own room and how did the transition go?
