Question for mums
okay soooo I haven’t had sex all my pregnancy well up until I was 8 weeks. Now I’m 37 weeks and couple of days. If I’m starting to loose a bit of my mucus plug. Also having tight contractions every 10 mins as the doctors and midwives have said. I was admitted in for just a day. But it wasn’t something to be concerned about as they said it’s braxton hicks or whatever it’s called
So if I have sex now would that possibly risk me getting into labour or getting really bad contractions?
Should I not do it or should I do it?
Apparently it’s good for me so yup.
It’s my first pregnancy and all and I’m a tad bit confused.

Once your mucus plug has gone many healthcare facilities say not to have sex due to infection risk
You’re full term, if your waters havent gone and you feel like it go for it! I don’t think it will make you go into labour unless your body is ready!
As long as your waters haven’t broken you’re good to go! Just make sure that you’re both clean before and have a shower after to avoid any infections or UTIs etc xx
