6am waking up time

Hello,

Does anyone have any idea how to change your baby waking up time?🤣
My 6 months old keeps waking up at 6am no matter what time he will go sleep (I have tried 8:30,8,7:30,7,6:30pm and all the time waking up at 6am).
I’m keeping him in the room until 6:45am (until he cries 🤣) and only then starting the day etc hoping he will keep waking up little bit later after some time but nah, still 6am 🫠 I’m just not a morning person! At least 7am pleaseeee 🫠

Wait until a little older they will be up before 6 🤣 enjoy the 6am wake up ! Unfortunately babies are ready to rock and roll way before we are and then toddlers are worse ! X

2 things you need to look at: What are LOs total sleep needs? If they're having too much daytime sleep then they won't have enough sleep pressure to get to the other end of the night. Also, what are they like before bed? Counter intuitively, if you put them to bed undertired or overtired they will wake up early. Babies regulate their food and sleep balancing over a 24 hrs or a few days period. So if they're overtired a lot they might wake up early often and then have one day in which they recover their sleep, then back to waking up early. If they're undertired they'll sleep in short bursts which resets their sleep pressure again and again. So figure those out and if it's too much daytime sleep, you'll need to cap their naps so they can have a full night sleep.

It could be other things: rolling, a developmental leap can lead to a week or so of early wake ups, etc. But if it's constant and there's no other factors like rolling or teething or other discomfort (dirty nappy, cold, hot, hungry, etc) then above

With my 6 months.. I take him for a stroll so he can take a last short nap around 5:30pm. I aim to put him to sleep around 9pm. He gets up between 7-7:30am (with couple of night feedings still). When I was starting bath and sleeping time earlier, he was wide awake at 5am all cheerful! It was challenging 😰

NAPPY/DIAPER PREFERENCE

So I’ve been trying out different nappies to find the best for baby girl. With my eldest daughter I used pampers and they were rubbish so I didn’t bother with them and switched to Aldi nappies and only used Aldi nappies with my son. Huggies are a no go for me.

So far number 3 (rascals) have been working the best for baby girl with number 4 in close second.

Which nappies if any of these have you found the best for your LOs?

1. Tesco (Fred and Flo)
2. Asda (Little Angels)
3. Most supermarkets (Rascals)
4. Aldi (Mamia)

If you have any other suggestions for other brands please feel free to drop a comment 🩷

Shein clothes

Im starting to look at getting some clothes. My partner doesn't like the idea of clothes from Shien because of the possible chemicals. Has anyone ever had any issues with baby clothes from them?

Help settle this not serious debate between my husband and me

This is for kids old enough to play in the bath.
Do you wash your kids first then fill up the bath so they can play?
OR
Do you fill up the bath, let them play then drain and wash?

Feeling like utter crap

When will this end? I feel terrible. Overweight, biggest I've ever been in my life, unsexy, barely get a chance to shower most days, make up is non existent, hair is suffering. Clothes awful. Mood low majority of the time what I do is just a distraction for how awful I feel inside. I am deeply grateful for my children, but I just can't seem to get it together energy wise. My youngest is 5 months.

Nobody warned me I would feel this toward my own toddler 😭

Not anger exactly. something else. after they hurt the baby again. the love is completely still there — both things are true at the same time. and the second thing is the loneliest feeling I've ever carried. anyone else holding something like this silently? 💙

Burping a newborn

Does anyone have any tips for burping a newborn. My baby is 2 weeks old and breastfed, and I've been really struggling to get any good burps out of him.

I know that breastfed babies generally have less gas, but sometimes he does the little gassy smile or scrunches his knees up & no matter what I try I can't get a burp out of him. He's also very fussy and wriggly when I get him into any burping position.
