Even if you are barely getting by it doesn’t matter how much he makes!
I am just curious to see how families are doing it?
I am a stay at home mom my husband brings in under $6000 a month after taxes we have a 3 bedroom apartment for very cheap so our monthly expenses are small compared to the average couple so this works for us ! We also do not want our child in preschool until he can at least speak for himself around age 2.5 -3

more than 6k a month

Just over $2000 a month (I make a bit as a homebaker) It’s tight but we make it work somehow lol

We could make it work then we'd have no fun really. Just perspective when we had our oldest he made 5k a month after taxes in 2020. Now he makes little over 5k a month & I also work part time with free childcare at my work & we get to do so much. I work literally 4 days a week 5-6 hour shifts & my kids both went to work with me/ my oldest soon will go with me. That's my life hack. But I will also return to special ed teaching after my youngest is in school. I love visiting her & my coworkers texting me pics of her lol
