Post C section period

Hello ladies ! I’m a bit worried… 7weeks post partum today started bleeding two days ago ..not soaking any pad yet just at wiping there’s bleeding but I have lower back pain /period like pain/ scar pain feeling inside and boobs are super sore … im exclusively breastfeeding. Now since I’m breastfeeding no one mention that period can return this early so I’m worried if it’s the beginning of my period or something else happening?

Post c section only bled for a week then fully stopped , bleeding never was heavy almost didn’t required pads. Pls share your thoughts 🙏🏻

It could be just a smaller period because your breastfeeding? Have you mentioned to your health visitor if you get one?

Hey! I had something similar. I had the early stages of period bleeding for a few days around the 2 month mark then nothing ever since! Now at 7 months. I also had a c section and EBF

Yes, you can start your period early and around the 2 month mark during postpartum. It is normal to experience it early since its your body is just starting over your monthly cycle after birth which is around 28-31 days. Your provider most definitely should of medically educated you and let you know it was a apart of your recovery beforehand. You can take midol since that gets rid of severe cramps and pain while not affecting the baby as you EBF.

I had my period right at the 2 month mark for two consecutive months. Then it disappeared till my little one was 8 months old :)

FTM - Sleep Help

My little boy is 11 days old and constantly goes into his side slightly when sleeping, I always put him on his back and seem to be correcting him throughout the night but he always ends up in this position.
Is this safe? Or does anyone have advice?

Help 🥲🥲🥲

So, my girl woke at 6 am this morning, had her first nap at 8 am for 40 minutes, had her second nap at 11:40 am for 2 hours?! (She’s super grumpy and clingy recently, so I let her sleep incase it was her teeth or poorly) and now she won’t have her cat nap for bridge to bedtime. Her bedtime is around 7.30-8.30 pm.
I know this is probably because she had such a big nap but my parenting skills don’t go this far 😆, do I keep her up and start bedtime earlier and get her to bed for like 6.30-7 pm or keep trying the cat nap? My only worry is this wake window would be MASSIVE if I do 😆 she’s 7 months in 3 days.
Thanks in advance 🥲🤣

Guilt

I feel so guilty because I feel like there’s limited things to do with my newborn, he’s 9 weeks old. Other than tummy time, socialisation et cetera, he’s sat in a bouncer or in bed. Does anyone else feel guilty or have any recommendations? Am I doing anything wrong??

How is everyone sleep training their bubbas?

I have decided to sleep train my 4.5month old like i did with my older child.

I give him a cuddle and song, put him down sleepy but awake,
He fidgets ALOT i leave him (sit on my bed) and wait if he starts fussing i leave him a couple of minutes to give him time if he doesnt settle i go to him and reassure him by patting his bum and stroking his face. If i have to go to him 4 times ill pick him up and repeat . Seems to be working
If he cries i go to him straight away

Breastfeeding advice

I am due with my second baby in a few weeks and I am really wanting to try breastfeeding!
I have EXTREMELY sensitive nipples, I can’t even let my husband touch them so I never tried with my first.
Any advice to help with the pain/sensitivity?
