My baby is 4 weeks old and is exclusively breast fed straight from the breast. I want to try introducing bottles of breast milk soon so that I will be able to go out to the gym, store, etc. and my husband and eventually our nanny will be able to feed her.
I am a bit concerned how this will go as she has refused a pacifier during the short time I have run out — I’m worried she will refuse a bottle, too!
Any advice on how to begin incorporating a bottle? And should I start ASAP or wait 1 or 2 more weeks? She is only 4 weeks.

I had a meeting to go to so I introduced a bottle to my EBF baby when he was 8 weeks or 10 weeks. Somewhere around there. He took to it just fine. He also refused pacifiers so I had the same fear. I let his dad feed him while I was in another room because I thought if he saw me then he wouldn’t want the bottle. I would say do research on the bottles that will best fit your needs.
