UK c-section mum's

Hi ladies

I would like to do some gifts for the team helping us with the delivery of our baby. How many members of staff do you typically have for a C-section just so I have an idea of what to put together and how much ?

Chocolate/ biscuits/ snacks are always appreciated on any ward 😆

Think it depends really i got told 10-12 people which would include the neonatal team and anesthesnetist but it didnt seem like there was that many in there but would say more than 5 so maybe plan for 10 and if you have extra you could always give to any other staff you want to or use at a later date or for yourself obviously up to you

Disappointed?

So, we had a scan yesterday and we’d agreed not to find out baby’s gender but we think the midwife may have slipped up and told us. So now we’re in a bit of a dilemma…
Do we find out or try to ignore what she said?

Position in baby carrier

Is the baby positioned properly in this baby carrier? I can kiss his head but he likes to lean on one side, is it ok?

I recently read about research looking at possible associations between C-sections and ADHD/autism, and I was wondering what other moms' experiences have been. No judgment at all, just interested in hearing different stories!

Baby sitting unsupported for 30+ seconds

Almost 5 months If I put her in a self seated position unsupported she will sit happily and if she starts to fall will hold herself up with her arm. But I thought babies don’t start independently sitting until 6+ months. Is this bad for her hip/ spine development
