Im trying to reduce my daughter's reliance on feeding to sleep...at least for the first part of the night when my sanity allows but she continues to wake every 30 mins until I bring her into my bed which is usually two hours after bed time. Although I am trying not to feed her to sleep, we are rocking her which I appreciate is another sleep association that shes probably reliant on so not necessarily better other than it allowing my husband to help. Do they just get there developmentally or do I have more screaming to look forward to? She is not the easygoing type and I hate hearing her cry

Babies eventually learn, but when depends on personality. But I don't see anything wrong with soothing to sleep either with feeding or rocking. Of course its challenging but this period passes so quickly and its when you are creating a calm and securely attached nervous system that will serve them the rest of their lives so I think its worth the sacrifice
