Cramps at 5 weeks…!

Oh my god, no one speaks enough about cramps at early stages of pregnancy…! It’s my first pregnancy so I have ofc no idea what I’m doing or how things are supposed to feel like 🫠 But the cramps…! Painful enough to leave me in fetal position, and keep me awake at night. I worried it might be an ectopic pregnancy, but no bleeding so far so I think all is normal? Pain is like 7-10, I have to rely on paracetamol to feel better. Anyone else experiencing the same this early on? 🫣

Yes you cramp during early pregnancy with everything growing and stretching plus moving but they shouldn’t be leaving you in a fetal position nor should the pain be 7-10.

Ring 111 now or your early pregnancy unit first thing in the morning. With an ectopic you wouldn’t necessarily bleed straight away as this is where the pregnancy is out of the womb but still progressing.

My cramps were bad the first 9-11 weeks. I literally thought something was wrong everyday.

I think you should get checked out jic. Ive had cramping but nothing that sounds that painful. My 10 pain scale is pretty high up there. So if your in 10/10 pain Id get checked and let them know you are worried its ectopic

Numbness

Hi pretty mommas, I had an emergency C section 5 weeks ago. My belly is bit numb in some areas and can’t feel anything. Did anyone else experience this? Because I am concerned now. Xx

FTM in need of advice

Hello ladies, I’m 27w5d today and yesterday I noticed less/ softer movement than usual. Just for my own record, I had been documenting his movements pretty consistently but then I stopped for a few days. I’ve started documenting his movements consistently again today and it still feels a bit less/ softer than what it’s often been in the past. I have a posterior placenta so usually I can feel him roll or kick fairly well and often. I’m not sure if he’s just in a different position than usual or if it’s just first time jitters getting to me or if there’s actually reason to be concerned.

Please share any thoughts or suggestions. ❤️

Waters?

I’d just been for a wee and I felt a click type of feeling my knickers were wet. Put a pad in and they are a little wet I keep feeling like I’m trickling but questioning myself 100%

First birthdays

What did you all do for your babies first birthday? My boy will be 1 in November and I’ll be back at work full time and it’ll be chaos. (Operations management wooo hahah) it’s gonna be chaos trying to set new routines and all that so I kinda wanna get some ideas in my head so I don’t panic around that time!
