Hello ladies, I’m 27w5d today and yesterday I noticed less/ softer movement than usual. Just for my own record, I had been documenting his movements pretty consistently but then I stopped for a few days. I’ve started documenting his movements consistently again today and it still feels a bit less/ softer than what it’s often been in the past. I have a posterior placenta so usually I can feel him roll or kick fairly well and often. I’m not sure if he’s just in a different position than usual or if it’s just first time jitters getting to me or if there’s actually reason to be concerned.

I had significant issues regarding movement and a lack thereof. I went in to checked every single time due to anterior placenta. It was always fine thank goodness but I wouldn't even chance it x

It happened to me and I got so stressed went to A&E and he started moving. I felt like an idiot. But if you are concerned, its important you get it checked. Worst case scenario, it’s only a trip to emergency. Xx stay strong.

They can go from all kinds of intense movement and then little to no movement. They tend to get calmer in the middle/end of pregnancy and then get pretty active right before they make their appearance! If you ever need the peice of mind do not hesitate to talk to your OB. Not everyone's body is the same. Not every pregnancy is the same. Not every baby is the same.

eat something sugary!! i have an anterior placenta so i don't panic if i haven't felt him in a while but i always notice little wiggles after i eat candy or drink juice or something sweet

Orange juice if you can. It'll get him to move more

I had an antierior placenta and I always went into l&D when I couldn’t my little man move. It never hurts to get checked out and make sure everything is fine. They always encouraged me he was find and moving up a storm at a few times near the end he wouldn’t stop moving
