Fever with teething

Does anyone’s baby also spike a fever when teething? And when I say fever Im talking 101-102 range? I know they say it is typically low grade but I swear my kids spike a higher fever when teething and it always worries me.

My kids is currently at 103.6 and they said it might be due to returning. To be that seems too high to be teething

First time Mum’s

What does everyone’s days look like?

For us it’s nappy, feed, cuddle, sleep (mostly contact naps). I still struggle to shower and eat when I’m on my own. We don’t go out anywhere other than the garden, and I don’t have the mental capacity to play with him very much (which I feel awful about). I’ve tried using a carrier to get things done around the house or to make my lunch, but I find it kills my back after 5/10 minutes. Losing the will to live 😣

Is anyone else freaking out about money? 🫠

My partner and I don’t have crazy high income’s as it is, I’m band 4 full time NHS and he’s band 3 full time NHS (increasing to 4 in a few months).
We’re viewing nurseries now and the cost of childcare is really hitting me.
I’m planing on taking 9 months mat leave, a month of KIT days (2 a week for 4 weeks) and then another month of annual leave, I’ll go back on 2 days a week so that I can work the 2 days he’ll be in nursery but I’m so scared about not earning enough.
Do people have really set plans for ensuring their income stays manageable?
Tips and tricks? 🥹

Is this normal?

Noticed these 2 white bits behind my daughter’s top teeth. They almost look like more teeth? As she is still a baby, she can’t communicate if it’s painful but can’t get a dentist appointment till end of july

Feeling defeated

So my husband and I kinda always has some opinions when it comes to our kids. We are a blended family. He has a son from his previous relationship, I have two from mine and we have three more kids together. When it comes to my girls and his son we always “fight” about it. When it comes to my daughters it’s like it’s the end of the world and he is very I’m not sure what word to use but it seems like there is a lot wrong when do stuff or if they do stuff he wants them to do he gets pissed, but when it comes to his son about anything it’s like he always has an excuse for him. Oh he’s a boy, it’s different. Like today I found out he didn’t have shampoo and he has been using “a bar body soap” to wash his hair. For like a month now…why not ask for some?? My husband said he did it and he is find to do it. Yes I get it short hair bad for my girls because it’s long. But every time it comes to his son it’s alright. Like idk what to do…I’m always stressed and he stays with us for a week at a time during the summer. I tell him he is 14 he can mow, well that’s his choice?? Then he tells me he should teach my girls to mow? I have so much to vent about…i feel alone…..
