Do you do anything about a gut feeling?

So I'm pregnant with baby 2 and I can't explain why but I have a feeling that something isn't right. I had 2 scans early on due to sudden back problems and then the normal 12 week scan and everything was fine. Blood tests were also fine. My tummy sometimes tightens a bit which I don't remember it doing this early before, but otherwise there's no symptoms to really explain my feeling. I'm now 15 weeks so have a while until my next scan or midwife appointment. Would you contact the midwife despite it probably being paranoia or just wait until your next scan? I was so chilled with the 1st pregnancy I'm not sure why I feel like this now. Although the toddler is all elbows and knees and not the most delicate child so that does worry me too!

Follow your gut, even if it's wrong, it is so much better to be safe than sorry.

Could you book in for a private scan? We did that a few times to reassure me in the beginning

NHS is a f* joke, please help

Can someone please recommend a good private gynaecologist in London and not very expensive??😩

I feel some pain inside and sometimes cramps but not like period ones it’s different and some redness

This is what happened to me: I had an episiotomy, the wound opened and I had an infection, my midwife prescribed antibiotics and pain killers after 4 weeks the wound closed but the pain was still there. She said I need to talk to my gp. At my 6 weeks appointment I had some redness on one side(idk how to explain it) my Gp said it’s ok to still feel some pain because I just gave birth and had an episiotomy, I’m still recovering. About the redness spot she took a swab, and if it would be bad they will contact me. I was asking to go to a gynaecologist but she said there is no reason for that but I feel like something is wrong🥲
In a week I decided to check the results and it was ABNORMAL, I contacted them (with redness on both sides now) they prescribed antibiotics and another gp appointment, that was yesterday.
Same person looked again and took a swab of my discharge, to my question if I can get a referral to a gynaecologist because I feel like something is wrong she said to use some cream and that this is nothing to worry about. I asked if I still need to take the antibiotics she said she thought I finished them ( they were prescribed on Tuesday for 5 days, starting on Wednesday morning, my appointment was on Thursday🤦🏻‍♀️)

Is this normal?

So I am currently 38 weeks and I am experiencing really bad diarrhoea and nausea for past day or two is anyone else in the same situation? Not sure if this is a sign of my body preparing. Has anyone been through something similar?

Any petite moms deliver a bigger baby? 🥺

I’m a first-time mom, and I was only 100 lbs pre-pregnancy at 5’4”. I am currently 160 lbs 😆 My partner was almost 10 lbs at birth, and our baby girl is currently being estimated at 8–10 lbs. 😭

I’m starting to get really anxious about labor and keep worrying that she’ll get stuck or that my hips are just too small. I know ultrasound estimates can be off, but it’s hard not to overthink it.

Has anyone with a smaller frame delivered a bigger baby? I’d love to hear some positive experiences or reassuring stories. ❤️

Am I panicking over nothing?

My baby has fluid on one of their kidneys, I have to drive 3 hours for a specialized ultrasound because my regular hospital doesn't have the equipment. My Dr said it's probably nothing to worry about but that it's still concerning enough that they want to check all the boxes before making any decisions. I'm 31 weeks 2 days. I don't want to worry about nothing but I'm 19 and this is my first. I don't really have anyone to ask. Thank you!

Elective c section

Hey!

I’m having my baby via elective c section at Birmingham women’s hospital due to medical reasons.

I know it might sound a silly question but it just occurred to me what happens with my bags why I’m in theatre?

Do they go somewhere as I’ve seen online that at the women’s you don’t go to a ward before the c section you go to a waiting lounge.

Thanks :) x
