What are the least helpful things you’ve been told in pregnancy?

I can start
1) “you still have 2 months to go? But you’re massive already!”
2) “baby due September? Better push them earlier so you avoid extra year of childcare cost”
3) (to my partner upon announcing the news): “you better work more and harder get a promotion now”.

I can go on forever, thought the “you sure it’s not twins” comments were an urban legend but people are THAT stupid

These are awful! I can’t remember being told anything unhelpful thankfully! Apart from a shop assistant in Dunelm asking me not to give birth in the shop as he wasn’t first aid trained 🤣

"you think you're tired now, just wait..." 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Newborn tired was nothing compared to pregnancy tired 😂

My appetite gone crazy at some point and I was eating a lot, my husband told me to relax - ‘ give yourself a break, you’re eating for two now’ , my mother in law jumped on it - ‘that’s not actually true at all, she’s not eating so much cause of the baby’

Still don’t know why she even commented on that

"Was it planned?" "Yes, aunt who I never talk to, it was very fucking planned, we did IVF" 😂 like what a weird question, what are people supposed to say? "Nah we were using the pull out method" lol

Cramping after orgasm

Hi everyone,
Just looking for advice, I masturbated twice early with just stimulation, I’m 13+4 weeks and I’m just about curious how long you cramped for afterwards, I had the initial cramps that lasted for about half an hour, but now they’ve been on and off throughout the day since orgasming. Is that normal to have cramps on and off throughout the day afterwards ?
This is my first pregnancy so any advice is welcome 🤍🤍

So I recently just moved back into my dads house bc my husband wants a divorce and I just found my ultrasounds from 20w 5d and I was wondering if anyone else is genuinely missing there baby being in there belly instead of not and if you guys also hate how fast they are growing up.

Newborn

My friends baby is now 2 weeks and mine is now 3 months. When is it okay for me to visit her and bring my baby with me? Or does that matter?

10th Centile at 28+4

I had my midwife appt yesterday and she measured my bump, she plotted it as over the 100th centile (my bump is a lot bigger in this pregnancy compared to my first) anyway she felt my tummy and she said ‘baby feels really big’ so she referred me for a growth scan the same day.

I went to the scan and it’s now showing my baby is on the 10th centile… is this something to be worried about? I never had this with my daughter so I can’t help but worry that he isn’t growing as he should be🥺 has anyone else had this?

Leak from upstairs flat.

Has anyone experienced a leak from above that wasn't so obvious? But was definitely there.. trickling through the walls and causing stains? Wet and musty smell? I have evidence of a leak somewhere coming from above. But the neighbours are denying it. What can I do ???
