The 12 hour shift is hard work. My husband does the same and it's a long time to be on your own with the kids. Does he work 5 days a week? Can 1 day a week be for you where he has them for a day or even an afternoon? You go out, get your nails done or something, or get a coffee with a friend? Hope you're OK! X

I have about 11 to 12 hours on my won with our little one since he was 2.5 weeks (now 9 weeks).
With my partner, we are currently making plans for me to be able to go back to the gym either before he leaves or after he comes home from work. Not everyday, but that would allow me to go and have an hour or so outside home to do something for myself.
Everyday feels the same, so trying to find a way to have a bit of time to do something for me a few of times a week 😊
