Am I in the wrong?

Recently I just had my son and problems are already happening with my husband’s mother. For context before giving birth she was telling me to not give my baby vaccines and the eye ointment as it would harm my baby. She also was pushing me towards giving him organic formula if I decide to bottle feed (which I am). Times in the pregnancy she would push her way into decisions about my baby or try to guide me in a direction I did not want. While in the hospital because I had to be induced due to high blood pressure she was upset that she wasn’t allowed to be in the delivery room, as well as the room before I gave birth. (For context my blood family has kicked me out of their lives so it was just my best friend and husband) Recently it has once again become a push for me to use organic formula when I have told her we are going to use the one the hospital gave, to let her give him his first bath, and for what medicine we are giving him. She also worse strong perfume and because of this I broke down crying and yelling at my husband to take our son because he isn’t my baby. The final straw was when I heard her say to my son “there is my baby!” With the emphasis of “my”. Because of that I lost it to my husband and he told his mom to stop pressuring us and to never say that in front of me. She bawled her eyes out and told his older sisters about it and now they complained to my husband that I am being rude. That I should be nicer because she watches him at times.

I now think I was to rude about it and maybe should reach out and apologize. Though on the other end it became to much and for her to say that as if she birthed the baby pushed me to the edge.

You have the right to choose what is best for you and da bby. She needs to understand that its your choice to make decisions not hers if she doesn't like it oh well. Im currently dealing with my mil visiting for a week n shes annoyed that i asked her to stay home instead of taking my 18 month out

My husbands mom also referred to my daughter as “my baby” a lot and it bothered me sooo much. Only because she was just not a nice person to me the whole time I’ve been in a relationship with her son even prior to pregnancy and freshly postpartum
so why would you refer to MY baby as yours?
Ur mom in law sounds like mine.. trying to make decisions for u and ur baby. crying and playing victim.. involving the other siblings in ur guys problems.
I don’t think you were rude or in the wrong.
I’m not in contact with my MIL as of right now and it’s been for 3 months now. I feel bad but it’s definitely been more peaceful

12 month development

Hi guy, wanting some help/advice. I have a 12 month old son. He hasn’t such much yet only dada and up but with no intention/context. He hasn’t clapped/pointed yet. He does understand so much, waves, high fives and shakes hand. Any advice or if someone related to this before? Thank you so much. Worried mom here.

Routine or routine less

Ladies, those with 6/7week olds… what are your days currently looking like?

My little boy is 7 weeks on Wed, and every day is different… bar the wake up at 6am and “bed time” at 9pm (he’s asleep long before this but that’s when I take him up to bed with me and get him in his swaddle). He will then sleep for 3/3.30 hours from 9pm onwards, but hourly after that until 6am. We are very much just winging it with daytime naps and he fights them in the afternoon. He’ll often go for 6 hours awake 🥵🫠

Just interested to see what others days look like.

My baby is 15 weeks old. He obviously sleeps in the next to me at night. But what do yous do when putting your baby to bed? Do yous just take them up with you when you’re going to bed or do you put them to bed and watch on the camera ?

Nappy brands?

Best nappies out there?
Was using aldi size 2, but moved to fred & flo which seem to hold pee better.
Using last of aldi we have, but seems an awkward fit and has caused friction burn.

Absorption pattern seems to change in size 3 fred & flo so wondering if baby will leak through them as well!

Baby boy is 12lb 5 for ref.

Thanks!
