My midwife told me I need to see a women’s health/pelvic floor physio at 6 weeks postpartum to clear me to exercise/ give me an exercise rehab plan.
I had a vaginal birth with an intact perineum.
I’m wondering how necessary it is since it’s really expensive and I haven’t heard of other people doing this. Has anyone else been told to see a physio before exercising?/ do you think it’s necessary?

Personally I would.
I didn't have anything like this (also vaginal birth with an intact perineum) and ended up with a prolapse when my daughter was 2.
