Lost my sex drive….and starting to resent my husband.

I’m 6months pp, have a 4 year old and running my own business- I’m EBF too, baby won’t take the bottle to the point I’ve just given up trying- I literally feel like I’m running at 100mph. Baby doesn’t really settle for anyone else other than myself and my mum that has her while I work. She will settle with her dad providing I’m out of sight.
She’s a velcro baby so I get about 20min where she will entertain herself.

My husband also runs his own business and most nights he isn’t home till 8pm sometimes later. Safe to say that at the end of the night the last thing on my mind is having sex. I try and make an effort as my husband has a very high sex drive and I make sure we’re intimate 2-3 times a week. Most of the time he does initiate it rather than myself.
I just got our little girl to sleep last night and was laying on the bed, he comes in and starts touching me, he then gets the nipple suction cups out, I said I’d rather not- do you not think my nipples have enough during the day- he then proceeds to put them on me- obviously with the suction I start leaking, so I said no and put them on the side, he then gets a toy out and said maybe this will help get you in the mood- I said it’s not that I’m not in the mood, she’s literally just gone to sleep and I’d like 10mins on my own (it was gone 10pm at this point and we had sex on Sunday & Friday) He then said ‘god what’s a bloke got to do to get some attention from his wife, no wonder men end up resenting women’
Without even thinking I just said ‘I can assure you I resent you for a far lot more’ he just got up and walked out.
I fully understand what I said wasn’t nice but what he said actually hurt me. I put everyone else before myself and for once I’d actually just like him to think of me rather than himself!
He gets up, goes to work and comes home, has his dinner, has a shower and goes to bed- he literally doesn’t have anything to worry about other than work. He’ll take our little girl when he’s home but only so I can put our son to bed, as soon as I walk out he gives me the baby so he can have his dinner 🙄

We was invited out at the weekend to my cousins partners birthday bbq, I said we would go- on the day my husband said ‘I’m not going, dunno why you said we’d go you can go on your own’ I was like great wonderful, both kids on my own- absolutely nothing stopping him from putting himself out and putting me first and just coming with me, but no he left me to go on my own with both kids.
He did this about 2 months ago too, we was invited out with some friends, he said he was coming at then the last minute he just said no, I’ve got stuff to do so you’ll have to go on your own.

Resentment is kicking in quick, I just don’t know what to say to him.
We’ve been together almost 15 years - I just feel that he’s turning into a very self absorbed dick!

Am I over reacting?

Naw tell him all the things you do that he doesn't do. Let him know. Let him know some days u dont want to have sex and he should use his hand. It is ok to say no. He created them kids too. If he loves thrn and you he should help. Hell you shouldn't have to ask thag. He should know. Some men you have to tell them and get i to detail with everying you do for them to understand. You're not overreacting hes acting like an extra child you dont need

I’m curious how he’s reacted since this?

Because I think that’s a completely valid reaction to your husband not respecting the word no and genuinely harassing you to the point past discomfort. And lashing out most likely sounds like the only way to get the point across to this guy. Since he’s blissfully unaware so it seems how you’re feeling or just doesn’t care.

My skin CRAWLED when you said he put the nipple suction on you after you said no, like sir what! Don’t touch me.

Baby daddy

My baby daddy called me today telling me he doesn’t want to try to work things out with me for the sake of the baby (I’m 34 weeks pregnant) and he said he won’t do the paternity test we’ve been talking about after he’s tortured me my whole pregnancy saying his child “isn’t his” after HE CHEATED ON ME, and he said he won’t even drive over here to meet his son in person or come to the hospital. My whole pregnancy he’d claim he wants me and the next day it’d be something different. Do you think he will come back once baby’s born?

Intimacy after having baby

Hi everyone, I had my baby in January via emergency c section and obviously wasn’t planning on having sex with my partner for a while after, but we are 6 months in now and we still haven’t. I still just have such low sex drive. I am breastfeeding, and I know this can play part in this, but I’m also just so uncomfortable in my body and touched out that I don’t want anyone to touch me at all. There have been occasions where I have wanted to, but baby is co-sleeping with me for survival, so I don’t really know how we would do anything 🥲 My partner is absolutely wonderful and not pressuring me at all, and assures me he doesn’t mind and everything is at my pace, but we were rarely intimate while I was pregnant due to my pelvic pain and I feel really guilty, even though he doesn’t want me to. We talk about it all the time, so we are on the same page and there’s no resentment or anything like that, just more me wanting to WANT to, if that makes sense.

Has anyone experienced this before or is there any advice anyone could give me?

Husband being weird

So I’m 8 months postpartum and I’m starting to feel more like myself and like I can do things outside of trying to survive with my baby. I will admit that I had some pretty difficult time getting back into sex with my husband, especially because I’m the sole one taking care of the baby (my first, never have even babysat), but I have been having sex more often, even if I’m not 100% in the mood for it. My husband has been complaining and moaning about how I’m not doing it as much as I used to, and that I should be doing it all the time and can take a break for a moment from the baby. Yes, he has acknowledged that I’ve been making an effort to do it more, but he’s also still complaining. Tonight, when I got back from visiting with my baby at my mom’s, he’s been super weird with me. I asked for a hug and he said “yeah, do whatever you need to do” but when I asked if he didn’t want one or if he wanted to give me a kiss, he was like “I’m just not in the mood.” But it’s almost in like a petty tone, not actually sounding drained or like he needs some alone time (which I get). He’s chatting with me and being around me otherwise, just won’t be affectionate. I honestly don’t mind if that’s really how he feels tonight, but it came out of nowhere and I feel like he’s doing it to be petty because I didn’t have sex yesterday or today (he got home later and I had to do stuff for the baby yesterday, and I was visiting with my mom tonight and had to get the baby to bed earlier because she refused a nap). Am I overthinking this?

advice

so i’ve been with my partner for 5 years now. i got pregnant when we had been together for 3 years and we were on the verge of breaking up because he prioritised living his life and being with his friends. when i found out i was pregnant it was rough. he would constantly change his mind and say he wanted me to keep it then say he didn’t want to be a dad. it was on and off like that for months. at around 3/4 months pregnant we came to the conclusion that we would keep it and it was all fine. a week later he then said he wasn’t ready to be a dad so i told him this was unfair and manipulative since he was holding my belly and talking to it so i told him ill get an abortion but i cannot stay with him. it was a bit argument but we eventually kept the pregnancy (obviously).

time passed and he eventually became really good by helping me eat and shower and shave. he was amazing leading up to birth. i then gave birth to my beautiful boy last march and that’s where it all went downhill. he wanted his mum to come into the birthing room before i had even gotten up and cleaned myself up. i obviously said absolutely not and that caused some issues. i moved back in with my mum so she could help out with everything as i was only 19 at the time. i had strict rules of no one coming round without asking and they can’t stay past 6pm. it was okay to begin with but then my partners mum would come round whenever and stay until 9pm!!! around this time my partner was also going out and meeting his friends all the time and not helping out without son. i told him i couldn’t live like this and if he didn’t change i would leave him. we went on a break for about a week and he sorted himself out and it was great.

these past couple of months has been horrible. he has completely stopped prioritising me and my son. he doesn’t know our sons routine. he’s always with his friends and his opening hanging out with people who have a problem with me. none of his money goes on us (apart from the few occasions where i ask him if i have no money whatsoever). i told him that im not happy in our relationship anymore and if he doesn’t change whats more important to him he will lose us. we are now on another break as of yesterday and i don’t know what to do.

i love him dearly and have obviously been with him for a long time but i just am not happy in the relationship and i dont want our son to grow up with parents that are together just because we’ve been together for so long. i want to believe that he’ll change his ways but this has been a running problem throughout our relationship.

PLEASE HELP ME 🙏🏻

Don't

Don't start a conversation with someone if you don't know how to keep one going if you don't intend on keeping one going or if you're really not even interested, why are you on the app for moms to make friends and you're not really on here trying to make friends
