Nappies!

Just out of curiosity and no judgements!!!!! How often are we changing our little one nappies (if they don’t look full and there’s no poop)

4.5 months old, about 6-7 diapers a day, half poo, half pee only. We only really change when it looks full or if there’s poo. We haven’t had any issue with rash so far.

I have a 1 year old and I tend to change every 2 hours (unless he has a poo then straight away)
But if he’s asleep I just change on the morning or if he does wake for a bottle

The diapers I use, the yellow line on the front of the diaper changes colour to blue when there's pee so I change him when the line is nearly completely blue or if it feels full and I always change him with poopie diapers even if its a little bit.

I always change before a feed, bottle or puree, and if I know for sure it's dirty

Bassinet advice bc I’m exhausted

So even been co sleeping. I know I know. But that night at 4am I just couldn’t anymore. But now that he’s getting bigger and is sleeping through big stretches now. I really want him sleeping at least most of the night in his own ”bed”.
Ive tried to put him in there already asleep, almost asleep, awake but drowsy, ect but he just lays there kicking or just start crying. I don’t mind co sleeping with naps sometimes I need a nap too but for actual bedtime I need help getting him to stay in there for sleeping.
We’ve been up for two hours since he woke up to eat, he’s in the bassinet looking like he wants to sleep but he keeps kicking his legs and not letting himself fall asleep.
Dude hates being swaddled just screams until he’s free so that’s not an option.
I just want to be able to actually sleep instead of lay here with my brain still half conscious. Been forced laying still through the nights so much that my hips and legs hurt from not being able to fully stretch and relax.
Kind advice please.

Baby welfare

When should I be concerned about a babies welfare and get involved?
I have a close relative who has a 7 month old and is just giving the baby food and water no milk or formula even though we have told them multiple times that the baby need milk still as main drink 😅 I have an older baby of my own and I think she gets confused as my baby is over one she follows what I do even though I tell her that she only has cows milk and mainly food because she’s over one 😅
I can’t remember now but do they do any health visits around this age?
we have all tried offering advice and guidance but it gets ignored

Do your breastfed babies sleep through (at 6 months?)?

Thinking of adding formula so he sleeps more??

True or false?: there is nothing wrong with saying you hate breastfeeding as a breastfeeding Mum

I'm tired of the judgemental looks or comments I get when I speak about how I hate breastfeeding...a lot of it comes from other breastfeeding Mums or as I like to controversially call them: titty police/breastfeeding cult. Another reaction I get is that I need "mental health help" 🤦🏼‍♀️ the main issue is women who had an easy journey become ignorant and judgemental, but there is nothing wrong with hating it. I can still do what's best for our son but I don't have to like it. True or false?
