Tubal ligation

I am confident this is my last pregnancy. 4 is more then enough. However a tubal ligation is a major surgery and dont really want to do that. But im thinking if I have to have a c section, could they do it at the same time?

From what I understand (and this may vary by hospital) its an option as long as its discussed with your doctor ahead of time and consent forms are signed in the office

Check with your dr and see if its something thats allowed at your local hospital. One of our hospitals is own by Catholics so they won't do any procedures like that there.

I had 4 c sections and on my 4th they done tubal ligation as part of my current section before they closed me up so it is possible

Wasn't any longer maybe just abit more sore, but I recovered better with my 4th than my 3rd, I would do it that way again instead of having them done separately

Both my SILs had their tubal ligations while having a c section
Best to talk to your doctor and check with your insurance in order to avoid a surprise bill

Hey mamas

I just had an emergency c-section and now I’m at home struggling how to get out of bed and not use my abdomen, sitting or laying back on the couch to put baby to sleep and struggling to get up without help.

Any tips?.. or things you mamas have used that helps with healing?

I’m terrified of tearing the wound open or not healing properly.. :/

Hospital complaint

Has anyone ever made a complaint about the hospital they gave birth in after a bad labour experience?
What was the outcome, and did you feel like it helped or gave you any closure? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences ❤️

My mil doesn't know I'm pregnant but she suspects it

So I am 5 weeks pregnant (found out Friday) and we have not told many people, especially my mil cause she doesn't like me very much and I wanna enjoy my pregnancy. However she does suspect I'm pregnant because I stopped smoking and we keep telling her I'm not. It's driving her crazy and I kind of find it funny lol

Spicy time after a C-section

How long did everyone wait after a section to get back into bed? Everything I’ve read says around 6 weeks but I’m not even 2 weeks pp and so ready! Obviously I don’t want to do any damage but I don’t have my ‘6 week’ appointment until 8 weeks. That’s too long!

People who get induced when it’s not a medical emergency annoys me. Everytime I make a post asking about labor or anything regarding natural births somebody who willingly got induced comment like your experience is not the same. I’m trying to learn and hear about natural experiences
