Toddler refusing bedtime

Please does anyone have any advice, my 3 year old has the past 3 nights completely fought bedtime. She will non stop talk/shout/scream/make up a million excuses as to why she can’t sleep and literally will not stop talking for more than 2 seconds to keep herself awake and stop herself from going to sleep. I am going out of my mind and do not know what to do to stop her from doing this as no matter what I say, it’s a different excuse, or she just continues shouting, screaming etc. has anyone had similar and any tips that stopped their toddler doing this?

I know you've probably done this but for mine I set an alarm 30 minutes before his sleep time and explained bed time alarm has gone off so it's now drink, meds (he's asthmatic), a little snack, brush teeth then bed where we will have cuddles and read a book. I set timers in that half an hour as well to make it feel like it was a game. It gave him a sense like he was in control. Is she having naps in the day?

My advice is don't entertain it. I had it with my older 2 as kids and the more you engage in the behaviour the more they create and it could last hours. Just ignore her. Put her to bed as normal and when she kicks off don't give her any reaction she'll soon get bored and go to sleep

Here in solidarity! No advice but here to chat if you need as I’m in the EXACT same position and it’s driving me mad!

Didn’t nap today and she’s up now shouting and/or crying 🤣🙏😅

Is is me or is there a complete lack of check ups on babies in the NHS?!

Little bit of a rant but to me it seems absolutely crazy that if nothing seems wrong with your baby, theres no check up till a year old? If you dont book appointments no one actually checks on your baby. Not even just a wellbeing check on them. As a first time mum just blows my mind.

Breasfeeding vs pumping

Hi there!
Looking for opinions and experiences.
I had an emergency C, and my milk came in late, so we had to start with formula. Worked on it and my milk came, but baby is now used to bottle. Managed to make him latch a few times, but ut was painful and after a while he was getting a bit frustrated, i guess because of the flow. So i stuck with pumping.

Now here's my dilema :
Yes, i have to pump regularly every 2-3 hours. So not getting too much sleep. My husband insists it would have been loads easier if i would have kept trying to breastfeed, so i wouldn't get out of bed, having to get the milk ready all the time, and even he could get more sleep. So i think this is all one sided, as he would get more sleep, and i would get even less, as i thought breastfeeding would mean even less sleep because babies do lots of cluster feeding? As in i could end up feeding every 10 20 min compared to every 2-3h?

There's pros and cons for both exclusively breastfeeding and exclusively pumping (especially for the future on this as i will end up just giving the bottle to the baby and feed himself while i have a bit of time for myself - under supervision ofc)

Any takes on this? Anyone who switched from one to another? What do you think was easier?

Co sleeping

This morning I coslept with my baby. I wanted a bit more sleep as she woke up at 5 and she wouldn’t let me put her down. I moved the duvet out of the way and moved all of the pillows except one for my head which was well away from her head(I put it vertical under me rather than horizontal) I slept in the c curl with my arm above her head straight and both my knees curled up under her. Did I do anything wrong? Also? Is there any tips to maybe get her to sleep better in her Moses basket in the morning as I don’t want to have to rely on this every morning.
