I'm not talking millionaire status, but if you had enough money to live comfortably, maybe your partner earns enough if you're in a relationship, or you have savings or something, plenty to live a comfortable life, go on holidays/vacations and buy your kids nice things. Would you still work or would you be a SAHM? Even if you have a small baby/toddler?

Not with a small baby or toddler but I'd probably do part time when they're at nursery. That's my plan now anyway I miss working for the social aspect

I would work part time. Work is when I get my adult conversations and it is a vocation I worked hard for

I am a stay at home mom and started a home bakery out of boredom. I am now contemplating going back to the daycare job I had before I had my oldest because she is going to preschool and my youngest is devastated she is not able to go. My husband told me to ask for what I think are crazy demands because worst case they say no and I just don’t work 🤷♀️

I choose to work part time. I like my job, it’s interesting and meaningful. I like my colleagues and have made friends through work. My kids enjoy nursery so it’s win-win!

If it my money that was sustaining my lifestyle. Then yes… but I’d probably have a side gig. I never want someone to have financial control over my lifestyle again. Been there. Financial fear and control creeps in ….and mum and home jobs get discounted. Equality doesn’t last resentment and entitlement builds and one partner gets an evening and the other is in kid mode 24/7 with no breaks with no thanks just thank expectations.
Then they leave for someone they met at work with a career you have supported up the ranks and you have zero work history and you get to split the house money and get a small one with no way to pay the bills….

I work for fun not necessity it’s just extra money

You only live once, kick your feet up
And enjoy life! Long as your set if this is your spouse with the money get you some businesses, investments, stocks or money saved up just incase you may need it one day

My answer would have been different last year. Yes. I would still work. I love my job. It’s the most fulfilling and meaningful thing I’ve ever done.

I’d work part time or focus on school or training of some kind to get into a passion career

Im a stay at home mom. I have a hard time getting jobs due to being quiet and anxiety. It works for us. Of course if it didn't work out I'd get a job.

I would work once they are older wouldn’t be full time either. I would work just so I can have my own money and also just to have something to do

Absolutely would not want to not. I’m living the life I wanted as a mom. Bt even if I wasn’t able to be a stay at home mom, I would absolutely not want to work. Ppl equate work to having a job which equals a paycheck or money. Bt I think doing my hobbies is work, raising my child is work, waking up & doing what I want or love to do without getting paid or getting money from it as a work. lol jus existing is work. So I would absolutely not want to work for capitalism purposes; I wish we didn’t “need” money cuz I just want to do my hobbies or the things I love without it feeling mandatory or out of obligation. 😇
