Baby is just coming up to 7 weeks old and still waking every 3 hours, we have to keep her up for half an hour after every feed meaning by the time I get back to bed it’s 2 hours sleep between. When she is asleep she’s so loud next to me that I can’t go off properly. Does anyone have any tips on making it easier or able to tell me when she’s likely to go longer periods? I’m just so burnt out now

Have you tried ear plugs for the grunting etc? I got loops because she was keeping me awake for hours even though she was asleep

I have the same problem but with twins. They’re reaching 7 weeks soon, and still waking for 3 hourly feeds. I’ve tried to stretch to 4 hours but one twin always wakes up 10 mins before we hit 3 hours and then I have to wake the other twin up too. With the reflux issues we are holding them upright for 20-30 mins and by the time we are done we only have 1.5 hours left to sleep before the next round starts. Really hoping it gets easier soon 😞

Hey, I had exactly the same problem and it drove me mad. My baby is 8 weeks now. I've started to cap day naps to 2 hours, use white noise through the night and I place my T shirt in the cot a fitted sheet so she has a familiar smell. The last 3 nights, she has slept for 5-6 hour stretches x
