I feel bad for not being able to take my toddler to toddler places unless im with my partner or my mum. Everything hurts, im too hot and i just genuinely dont have the energy too. I still take her out nearly every day even if its just popping to the shops etc we live in a flat and im a stay at home mum but literally up until 2/3 weeks ago when i felt it taking a toll on my body we were going to country parks, splash parks all those kind of things now i feel bad😩 may i also add she is very energetic and a runner so i find it more difficult 🤣

I think this is completely normal. I’m taking my 3 year old out today to meet some friends with their children at a pub with a huge play area. Even though nobody else is bringing partners, I’ve asked my husband to come with me because I just can’t be chasing little one around playgrounds and places anymore

I know exactly how you feel. I've been going to small enclosed soft play areas where he can still run around and play but I can technically sit back and watch. Anywhere bigger I've taken my husband or another family member who is happy to run around.
I'm also lucky that my sister has 2 older boys who love my son and will run around with him for us.

I am in the same situation. I was fine some weeks ago but now it is getting extremely hard to run after him or helping him at the park os splash areas/paddling pools.
I guess it is temporary and we need to listen to our body, go out when you can it is good still to go to shops and small walks. Better than nothing. And take your husband when you can.

Im exactly the same, mine is 2.5 and we have just had to start locking it down this week- last month we were going to the zoo etc but from this weekend on (34 weeks) I am just busted. We went for a coffee date yesterday and a walk in the park and I felt like I had run a marathon!
