Paultons park

How is it for a 15 month old? Are there lots of rides for her to go on? We’re thinking of taking her there tomorrow ☺️

Peppa pig world will have suitable rides she'll enjoy, very sweet, we took our 2.5year old who loved Peppa so it was perfect

We went with our 15mo and our 3.5 year old last week. It was amazing. There were 2 rides he couldn't go on, but he loved the soft play and he walked around the park for a bit. He could play in the play parks and the splash zone too. I was worried taking him but he went on so much and had so much to do. We didnt even do the whole part in 1 day and in other parts of the park he could go on a couple of bits too!

Sahm rant

I’m sick and tired being told “you choose to be a stay at home mom”. Just because I’m a stay at home mom doesn’t make have to take care of our baby 24/7 with no breaks. I shouldn’t have to beg you to change a diaper, I shouldn’t have to ask you to feed our baby. I shouldn’t ask you to spend time with our baby while I leave the house to get groceries or even just have time for myself to breathe. You wonder why she doesn’t take bottles or the spoon good from you or why she’s looking at mama all the time. YOU choose to come home after work and go straight to sleep or go on the game. Do I not get freedom either? Or leave the house without you saying “take the baby with you”. Don’t forget when I argue with you about all this you like to say “I’m sorry I’m a shitty father”. Out of the weekend you actually spend a few hours with your kid but that’s because I’m there with you. Sometimes I think did I make a mistake having a kid? I love you and our daughter but we aren’t the same anymore.

Resent my partner

Is it wrong to resent my partner since having our little girl? I’m so tired of having to think for him aswell, he just goes to work, has a shower or chills, has a lie in etc, whatever works for him. But if I ask for some help around the house, with her or to go and do anything for me it’s like a massive favour. Or at least that’s how I’m made to feel.
I’m starting to feel it would be easier doing it on my own rather than having to think for him aswell. At least if you no you’ve got to do it all you get on with it rather than waiting or hoping someone else will help you.

50/50 in parenting

I am a first time mother of a 5 month old and I’m struggling to make my husband understand that he isn’t doing enough. He does a lot so thinks that’s fine but when I ask him to do one thing off his ‘dad’ schedule, it’s always done with reluctance. I’m sick of repeating myself of how unfair it is so I have told him I will not say it again as I’m done feeling bad about it. Now how can I actually fix this.

Leaving my 12 month old with my 75 year old MIL for 4-6 hours…

Husband bought us tickets to see a movie and get lunch with some other family members. He enlisted his mom (she’s 75) to watch our very active/fast 12 month old. He says she needs the challenge/activity and can handle it, but admittedly I’m nervous. She’s pretty much our only unpaid option for childcare and she’s managed him for a couple of hours on her own and once for 6 hours when he was younger/not quite crawling yet.

We’ve been to one movie since my son was born and honestly 4-6 hours without a baby sounds great but part of me is tempted to just stay with my son so I don’t have to be worried 🫠 am i just being paranoid? I’m worried she can’t keep up,

Egg allergy at 6 months old! Support needed!

Our baby boy tried eggs for the first time and it went totally wrong. It caused hives, and a trip to A&E. He is okay after medication but we could do with some support with any recipes to feed our son as he cannot have egg for a whole year now when he will be 18 months old. Also, any recommendations for allergy free cookbooks would be greatly appreciated.

Do your 4 yo go to any classes/activities without parents (apart from nursery/childcare)? Is this to prep for school or just normal?

As steps for school our nursery says encourage interactions with new people. But im not sure how to. Like we meet new ppl at parties but im always with him. And he gets to know his nursery teachers v well when he moves class… surely thats enough?
