I just need to get this out

So previously about 2 months ago my child’s father was cheating on me for about I think 3 months and now I just don’t know how to feel anymore it’s like I don’t know how I feel I’ve been going to therapy just started actually but I don’t know if I want to stay because my dad told me it is up to me but another man probably is going to do the same thing and I don’t want to leave and start completely over and end up going through the same thing then when I’m around my child father I completely forget about what just happened 2 months ago but nothing has changed we still constantly argue we have good days sometimes but he doesn’t show any emotions but when I do decide to leave he just showers me with love

mine was the exact same, we stayed to together for maybe 3/4 months after he cheated a lot but we argued so much over small things, i think it was because i had a bit of hatred towards him for it, unconsciously really. It got bad and i couldn’t help but think every time he was out he was doing it.. he did nothing for about 3 months and i thought we were through it, then he did it again when our son was 2 months old, i wish i had left earlier! I really don’t think many change once they’ve done it, It’s now so much better and we healthily co-parent with boundaries. It’s obviously completely up to you but the feeling never goes away, it comes up in arguments all the time and you always have a voice in your head worrying about it. Mine also showered me in love when i said about leaving, it’s literally just to make you stay and then within a week goes back to exactly what it was like, need to look past that

Came here to say it’s okay to leave him when he’s constantly being disrespectful and disgusting towards you it’s completely breaking your trust. But my husband now doesn’t do anything like that ever he’s a video game nerd I’ve never seen him be sneaky once towards me. He raises my first born like his own, allows me to be a stay at home mom and never work and this whole pregnancy never once told me no about what I want lol. I’m really just saying don’t be scared to go and never settle for someone who could do that to you. Some men are like toddlers they’re texting your boundaries to see how much you’ll put up with and react. I hope you figure everything out 🥺

Another man probably won’t do it and if he does you leave his ass. There are loyal men in the world

How is it for a 15 month old? Are there lots of rides for her to go on? We’re thinking of taking her there tomorrow ☺️

Toddler nonstop complaining

Sat here crying because ive had to resort to putting on Teletubbies AGAIN just so we can have some relief. My (non verbal) little boy will be 2 this month. He seems to be in a phase where he is just angry all day and high pitched whinging and screaming especially when his daddy stops playing with him because he needs to like...have a pee...have a shower...etc! He only wants his daddy half the time I guess because im more like...go play i need to wash up...
Today daddy went for a shower and I offered little man a yogurt that he wanted but no. He only wanted daddy to give it to him and started having a meltdown that he was in the shower. We all need a break...im trying to recover from a bit of a breakdown after being made redundant. I desperately need some quiet at home and some serenity....i just start crying instantly when I am bombarded with crying now. And I know I need to toughen up somehow
If anyone has any suggestions I would love to know. We've started trying to be tougher with him and tell him to stop whinging and angry squeaking but so far it doesn't work.

Life has been so hard.

My husband and I haven’t been getting along well. He slammed the door and probably woke up our 3 year old. I feel like we’re heading towards toxicity or divorce at this point. Idk. Im sure tomorrow will be better but its just so hard in the moment. My 3 year old likes to push my buttons all day and I have an 11mo that barely sleeps. She is still nursing every 2hours at night. I feel like im drained, stressed and worn out. I love my family but im constantly overwhelmed. I also hate my body postpartum. I bounced back the first time but this time not so much. Im the most ive ever weighed. I hate shopping all the sudden bc i just look like a blob. Sorry for ranting. I don’t know what to do anymore. Its just the same every day and i try to push through but life is tearing me down.

Vent Sesh

Is it just me or am I the a**hole because I left a man who wasn’t doing anything for me, our daughter or his other 2 children (from different relationships)? Like he was in and out of jail for the last 2 years, no job, and all he did was stay at his dad’s house and do yard work. I went to school, worked full time and took care of OUR child!! He didn’t call to check on her or see how she had been. He was only ever worried about when we would have sex again. Yet, I am in the wrong because I broke his heart because I was exhausted and fell out of love with him and his needy co-dependent self 🙄

Toilet training

Looking for some advice and reassurance from anyone who’s been through this.

I’ve attempted toilet training before, but after a few accidents my little girl got really upset, so I stopped because I didn’t want to distress her. I decided to take the “she’ll tell me when she’s ready” approach.

Since then, she’s started telling me when she’s done a poo. If she doesn’t say it verbally, she’ll put her hand in her nappy, so I thought she might be becoming more aware and ready to try again.

I’ve got the potty back out and tried making it exciting, but she has a complete meltdown, says “no” and won’t go anywhere near it. I’ve tried a standard potty, one that looks like a little toilet, and a toilet seat with steps, but it’s the same with all three.

She’s starting full-time nursery at a school in September, and ideally they’d like the children to be toilet trained, so I’m starting to feel really stressed and under pressure.

I personally don’t think she’s quite ready, but I also don’t know if this is just a normal part of potty training that we need to work through.

Has anyone else’s little one been like this? Did you wait, or did you persevere? Any tips or experiences would be really appreciated 🩷
