Hi mamas! Just wondering what bedtime your May 2026 babies have?
I’m feeling a bit guilty because my LO is usually in bed quite early now and it means his dad only gets about 1.5–2 hours with him after work before he’s asleep.
At the moment, his 5th and final nap finishes before 6pm, then he’s awake for around 1.5–2 hours. During that time we play, have some quiet wind-down time and get ready for bed. He’s exclusively breastfed, so I do his feed and bedtime. Dad has suggested I should add in another nap so he can go bed later (when he was a newborn he’d go to sleep around 10pm) but he’s naturally shifted into an earlier bedtime and selfishly I finally get some time to myself but I can’t help but feel guilty.

My kids have always had late bedtimes in part because it suits our family but I also wanted them to get to spend time with dad! When I went back to work I realised how precious those evenings were when you don’t see your baby all day.
When my first was small I’d go to bed (but you could do whatever you wanna do) from 8 and he’d play Xbox and watch the baby as he slept. Dad got to spend time with baby and I got some rest! x

Mines 10 weeks we tried a routine and set bedtime but didn’t work now he stays down till his last bottle about half 10 he will likely be asleep on me but we give him his last bottle then and then he goes into the next to me and sleeps till about half 4/5

My little girl is 13 weeks and we haven’t really got a set routine in place yet but for the last week or so her last nap will finish about 6 and then she will have a feed and then a bath with her older sister. Then my husband does bedtime with our eldest and then I feed her again and she usually then falls asleep on me. My husband will take her for a cuddle while I tidy up then she will come upstairs with me then I feed her to sleep for about 10ish which is usually a dream feed as she doesn’t really have a wake window just rouses slightly when I change her nappy. I will start thinking about putting her in her next to me a bit earlier in the next few weeks as she is pretty much asleep for the night from around 7/7:30 but for the time being it feels like evenings are the only time I can really sit and cuddle her properly as I have a 4 year old to look after during the day too🙂

I would love for my little one to go down a bit earlier and have a bit more of a routine and she's just gone 10 weeks and going down for her congested stretch between 9 and 11pm then usually wakes after around 6/7hours sleep for a quick feed and nappy change xx
