How did people find the jump from one to two?
I just found out I’m pregnant with my second and rough due date would be around my daughter’s 2nd birthday which scares me because I want it to be her special day, obviously I know baby can come at anytime but I feel guilty already and also she will only be two im worried about the age gap being so young
How hard is it?😩

I’m also pregnant with my second, due when my daughter will be 22 months. I feel like it’s going to be hard but I also feel so happy that she will still be too young to remember anything as she grows up, they will both only every remember a time when there was both of them together! And that gives me so much comfort. I’ve also heard a lot that babies close in age have a wonderful bond. My friend has two a year apart from each other and her advice to me was to include the older one in everything where possible, let them feel like they’re involved and helping ☺️
(I also think, why not get all the hard stuff out of the way all at once and then fully “recover” afterwards 😅)

Hey! I have two girls 19 months apart. It’s a lovely gap as my eldest doesn’t really understand what’s happened. So they’re not at that jealous age?
She doesn’t go near her she just calls her name sometimes. Gives her a kiss and that’s it, I’m really glad I’ve done it now and didn’t wait. Towards the end of this pregnancy things gets a bit harder as you can’t move as fast or easy,
My eldest sleeps through from 6-6 so the night feeds are the only new thing really and as you know in the day babies just sleep so it’s quite a nice age gap, (for now),
As for the guilt it gets worse🤣. They will grow up to probably love having their birthdays so close! As moms I think we just worry/stress over anything just to make our lives harder.
It’s different as theirs two but because your already dealing with one baby, two doesn’t really seem any harder 💛

There's 15 months between mine and so fat the transition has been pretty easy going. My oldest was too young to know what was going on so we've had no jealousy and she is so obsessed with her sister.
Going back to newborn nights was hard but it doesn't last long. You just need to keep the older one on a routine and adapt baby around it as much as you can. I even managed nearly 2 hours in the middle of the day where I could sit and do nothing as their naps lined up perfectly
