Judgy VBAC appointment at birthing clinic

Anyone else had a similar experience after choosing to have an elective c section rather than VBAC? Felt horrendously judged by the midwife to the point of tears?

I didn’t encountered personal judgements, just legal red tape.

In my state midwives are not allowed to be the supervising medical professional of a vbac until the patient has had a successful vbac under an obgyn’s supervision & care. 🥲

Coil fitted during planned section

Has anyone had experience of having a coil put in during a planned c section? Any pros or cons I should know about? I've never had a coil before

False starts

Anyone dealt with false starts? How long did it last for you? My baby is STILL having them, she’s 13 months and has done since about 5 months. Pretty much every single night since then 😭😭😭 I’m so done with it now I thought she’d have stopped by this age 😩

Chosen hospital

I was told at my first midwife appointment that I can choose what hospital I would like to have my baby at explaining I wanted Broomfield. Now at 29 weeks I’ve asked about having my baby at Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford where I had my first. But have been declined and will have to have my baby at Colchester where I live. The childcare we have for my first for when I give birth is in Chelmsford and we need to drop him off. I really do not want to have my baby at Colchester and I’m at a loose end of where to find help on what to do. I’ve had a different midwife at all of my appointments so far and just feel as though I’m not getting the support and help that I need. If anyone knows of what to do or where to ask for help that would be much appreciated, it’s causing me lots of anxiety & stress 😣

Early gender scan

I got a early gender scan at 16 weeks and was told it was a girl. I’m just nervous that at my 20 week scan they will tell me it’s a boy. Has this happened to anyone else before.

VBAC

Feeling super deflated after my midwife appointment today. I’m 38 weeks and my first was a planned caesarean as baby was breech. My midwife said she ‘cannot’ book an induction until 41 weeks and that we’ll try a sweep at 40 weeks. I just want baby here now! I’m so worried about having another c section as that’s the last thing I’d want. Any tips on starting labour?!! Baby is currently 4/5 engaged.

Thanks!

Birth Reflection

I have a birth reflection appointment scheduled for tomorrow, and I was just wondering what kind of questions can I ask them?
I had a lengthy and complicated birth, I was induced which ultimately led to an emergency c-section. However, I had been told at 11:30pm on the Tuesday night that I needed a c-section, but was left until 5:30am on the Wednesday, when my consultant wanted to suggest me continuing with a vaginal birth, however my blood test was beginning to show signs of sepsis, so the decision was made to take me to theatre.
I have been suffering with a lot of trauma around my birth, and my recovery, and I have lots of questions to ask them, but I was just hoping to hear from someone who maybe was in a similar situation to me, or has experience of a birth reflection and can let me know what to expect.
Thank you!
