Bath Time 🤦🏾‍♀️

My one year old son has decided that since he can walk that he should stand in the bathtub. I still use the infant bathtub since he still fits inside. Even if I put toys in the tub he still wants to stand. Any tips on how to keep him sitting? Is it time to say goodbye to the infant tub?

Aw yes it might be since he seems ready for it! I have a little baby chair for our little guy and buckets , he has lots of fun with his sea creatures in the tub, it makes for fun interactive play! Make sure you have that non slip mat inside the bathtub, I still hold him in one hand if I feel like he isn’t steady or might slip 🤗

Ya, but you could use the foot mat in the tub and facet cover just for safety sake. It may be bitter-sweet for you but oh man will he enjoy the freedom and comfort of thw "big" tub.

My son hated the infant tub I had so I just held him and washed him in the tub I took baths with him until about 1 and a half and he takes baths on his own now but sometimes he takes a bath with me still. You should try bathing with your baby if you are nervous about him falling but its time to leave the baby bath behind

Nappies in this heat 😷

Ladies what are we doing with dirty nappies in this heat? I had a separate outdoor bin for them but it f****** stunk! So just throwing them direct into the wheelie bin now but ours only gets collected once every 2 weeks so worried about flies and yes maggots 🤮. What’s everyone else doing?

Crying

Does anyone else cry? 😂 ive cried twice now, baby is 5 week old, so overall that isn't too bad!! But im tired.. she's very much at the stage now where she wakes instantly when i put her down. But I feel guilty for crying because I love my little girl so much and I'm crying because of the sleep deprivation that she's causing.. i always feel better after a cry

Nappies

*UPDATE*
I GOT NAPPIESSSS 🥳🥳🥳
So i am really embarrassed with this, but i have run out of nappies and I have now had to use a teatowel to cover my boy up. Unfortunately, his dad won't be back until 8ish but I do not see a way to take him out to the shops to get one, my question really is, What the fuck do i do? Its not like the shop is close by either.

Talker or mover

Has anyone found their baby was either a talker or a mover? My baby is pulling to stand but really not babbling much at 10 months. He’s has in the past but the last couple of weeks he has been so quiet. Wondering if anyone else’s LO stopped being social whilst learning a new motor skill?

Adult children and minor children together

Hello. Does anyone have experience with adult children moving back home when you also have minor children in the house?
And with an adult child needing to share a bedroom with the minor child(ren)?

I know I'm being sensitive ...

... But it drives me mad when I'm asked what I do when my baby naps during the day. Especially by my mum who asked if I'm "working" or "working out" or something. My baby is now napping no more than 20min so I do small things around the house and that's it. I don't want to feel judged for it. Sometimes I just nap if I can.
Plus he is extremely fussy at the moment so the carrier is not an option (also I am exhausted)
