I need advice please!!!

I’m a first time mom. My babygirl is two almost three weeks old. Since she’s been born she’s always had tummy aches after eating. She does breastfeeding and formula at night. The past three or four days she spends 80% of the day screaming when she’s awake. She will act like she’s hungry even after just finishing. But she also will spit up or throw up after every single feeding and struggles to burp. Today I have tried everything to calm her down and nothing has worked. I tried gas drops, diaper changes, tummy massage, working her legs, burping her, skin to skin, rocking, setting her in her swing, even taking her outside. Nothing helped. Right now she finally fell asleep in the car (with me in it and it on) just parked in front of our house. She screams like she’s in pain and I don’t know what to do anymore 😔

Hey, could it be acid reflux?. I’m currently searching for a solution for something similar with my girl, today at my doctors she told me if it’s reflux, after feeding to keep her upright for 20-30 minutes before lying down. Worth a try, I never breastfed only bottle so was told it could be Cmpa which is still possible but a lot less common I think Xx

My wee boy was like that still can be as he has really bad reflux I got omepazzol for my wee boy and it’s worked wonders he’s so much better way less throwing up and less tummy aches xx

I would recommend talking with her pediatrician about the possibility of reflux or cmpa(cows milk protein allergy). When she does have the formula I would also attempt to burp her after every ounce and keep her up right for 30 minutes following every feed. You could also look into changing the brand of bottle you’re using or having a slower nipple flow rate as well as a different formula. A doctor can prescribe thickeners or prescription acid reflux medications.

My baby girl is the same age and had similar issues. I cut out garlic and caffeine AND when a nurse I hold her head up as high as possible and let her bum drop as low as possible while staying tummy to tummy (I don’t let her head turn while nursing). Idk which one helped but something did.

Feeling judged.. co sleeping

So my relative is having a party soon in the evening and I've sent my apologies. Im breastfeeding and co sleeping my 10 month old. She feeds 3 times in night too. My sisters are being judgemental and making me feel bad saying I can't live my life like this e.g. never going out in the evening etc. I don't actually mind how it is right now. They dont think its right we sleep in bed together and that I NEED to get her in her own room. I feel like lying and telling them she does sometimes just to appease them. Why do people make you feel guilty for doing what works for you. Ive tried to get her in crib but she wont go. I also dont want to give her to anyone for babysitting yet. I don't feel ready. Just wanted to vent really.. feel a bit low
Edit: also only naps on me in day and they again think im being stupid but I am trying

Mum Guilt

Hi 🫶🏻

Last night I snapped at my 16 month old daughter she was not settling or going to sleep I was exhausted and had work the next morning she eventually fell asleep at 12am she was fighting her sleep for ages. I just got so irritated and snappy I felt like I just had to put her down and leave the room cos of how mad I was getting. Is this normal.

As soon as she fell asleep I cried myself to sleep and I felt so awful for how I had reacted.
:( I still feel it this morning

Single parents bedtime with 2

Please help me how are we doing this? I have a nearly 3 year old and a nearly 1 year old and every single bedtime is a shit show. My toddler won’t sleep without me next to him and my baby won’t sleep without being rocked, I’m just at breaking point I look forward to my evenings so much it’s the only opportunity I have for me time and I never get chance cause it’s just carnage for hours back and forth between rooms one will wake up when I leave to go to the other and I just can’t take it anymore any tips?

Sleep Overs

I can’t be the only one who feels this way - I keep getting pressured by grandparents for my 6 1/2 month old to stay the night with them. She’s still an infant? Theres no reason she needs to stay the night away from us? But they keep making me feel so guilty we say no

Oh I’m over this heatwave (for my baby)

I kid you not from around 3:30PM today until now (7:10pm) I have been cluster feeding and my son has not come off the breast for more than 10 minutes!

I usually love summer but doing this year with a newborn I’m ready for it to be finished 😭🙅🏾‍♀️
