I just had a brake down

I’ve been trying to pump and I asked my husband to to hold the baby while I do and he told me that I got it because I’m the mom and he wants to relax and I already got a brake (taking a shower isn’t a brake)I’ve also been struggling with getting my milk up, my baby is 3 months and he can’t latch. Anyways I am pumping and my baby can’t settle down and I am walking around my house with him and then I go into the baby’s room where my husband made it into a gaming room and I told him I need you to hold him. He just looks at me and then said have you tried walking around with him instead of being lazy and I was like yep. And then I snapped and said I can’t hold him with the stupid pumps and I yelled at no one I’m was just mad I CANT GET ENOUGH MILK OUT AND I CANT EVEN COMFORT HIM AND I FEEL LIKE A BAD MOM!!! And all my husband did was take the baby and yelled at me stop acting like your 5 it’s not hard to pump and hold the baby at the same time. And now he’s mad at me. I feel like I’m a really really bad mom.

"It's not hard to pump and hold the baby at the same time"?!?! Alright, daddy titties, you do it then.

You’re not a bad mom you just have a really bad partner imo. Having an inconsiderate partner is a big reason why people doubt themselves and blame themselves for things that are out of their control. I’m so sorry you’ve gotten to that point of thinking his shortcomings make you a bad mom. When the baby is down try to have a talk about this again and if you can’t get through to him think about if this is something you can accept & allow ur child to watch you accept long term.

Girl, you are doing the best you can, and what you are doing is hard. I'm so sorry you're struggling, and you are not a bad mom. I have break downs too, almost daily some weeks, because of feeling overwhelmed and like I'm failing my child somehow. Your husband needs a reality check and to pull his weight as a father.

Your not a bad mum. Your a great mum for still trying to pump! You have a lazy husband. It is draining to pump and no man will ever understand that! If baby can not latch have you tried a cranial osteopath? My baby could not latch but after 3 sessions was ale to latch it was like a miracle.
You are doing amazingly! Do not let your husband get you down.

You are not a bad mom! You literally held that baby in your body while going through all the physical, hormonal, mental changes while he provided the sperm. HE needs to step it up and SEE you as the superwoman you are instead of going to his games, unless he’s pumping milk out of his own tits. The audacity of men is appalling.

Mums who’ve flown with a 3-month-old, what are your absolute must-haves for the flight/airport?

First time flying with our little one and I feel like there are probably loads of things I wouldn’t even think to bring 😂

Anything that made the airport, take-off/landing, feeding, nappy changes or getting them to sleep easier? Also anything you bought that you thought was essential but ended up being completely pointless?

Give me all your tips please! 🤍

Unpopular opinion

Should you have to ask your husband for help with the baby or should he take it upon himself to help?

Anybody else feels like men are losing their control over women.

I just love how men are trying to use money and force as a control tool and women are just like “no thank you I rather be homeless, starve, and fight to death than to submit my soul to the devil 😌✌️ peace”

Like women are really out here leaving these toxic relationships without anything on their name, no support, and kids to top it off.

We are the real warriors 💪 and we do it in heels 👠

Advice please!

So I have a friend who loves my baby and will sometimes take care of him. Her whole extended family loves my family, my baby and it seems like every time he is with them, though, his basic needs are not met. They dote on him and play with him and are so fun with him, but he never seems to eat enough or drink enough. When he was really young, maybe a couple months old, I left my friend with him and she said he only wanted one bottle that day. He was starving. At the end of the day I had to nurse him for hours because of how hungry he was. I don’t understand how she didn’t get those cues. She told me that he cried a lot, and she bounced him etc., until he went to sleep. And I’m like, he was crying because he was hungry! So time has passed and he is now an older toddler so I thought maybe it would be better this time and I let them hang out with him for just a couple hours. When he came back home, he ran to a puddle outside and tried to start drinking it. When I brought him in, I filled up a sip cup and he drank the entire thing so quickly. He was so thirsty. I was so shocked. He now knows how to ask for water so I don’t get why he didn’t get water. I’m really worried about bringing it up, but I’m definitely not gonna allow them to take care of him again until he can talk properly. What would you do in this situation?

Am I being too sensitive?

I asked my husband to come to Target with me. He said he didn’t want to go and then proceeded to tell me that I cant do things by myself and I’m codependent. I just want to do things with him, I can obviously go by myself but I enjoy being with him. I told him thats insulting and he doesn’t understand why because he thinks he is just telling me the truth. This spiraled into a huge argument and we are now in separate rooms. Am I looking into this? Am I being too sensitive because of my hormones?

Venting about partner?

He comes from a single parent household so his mom did everything he also had lots of responsibilities he was the oldest mom sometimes left him with younger siblings when he was as little as 7 (Mexico) his aunt that’s like his mom she is married works even with 5 kids and during pregnancy and back I made it clear I won’t do that i was a single parent to one girl I had full responsibility her dad saw her once a week. if I have to work while my partner works and I take care of kids and do everything i rather be alone I don’t need you. I stay at home with 3 kids 2 under 2 a 15 month old and a 5 month oldwhile he works 8-8pm he never cooks he rather buy. I wash his work clothes I fold them I also do our clothes kids clothes and I fold he folds maybe with me once a month. I bathe the kids dress them he puts pjs on not daily he will say for me to do it I do everything he can’t put his pj and give him his bottle with milk while I get the other 5 month old ready and he falls asleep with 15 month old. I feel he falls asleep to not do responsibilities sometimes he doesn’t even shower when I said I don’t want him dirty in the bed I wash sheets weekly. I cook his breakfast at 7am and make dinner everyday I clean bathrooms weekly deep clean every 2 weeks I sweep mop every other day vacuum daily I told him that I needed a bit more help he washes dishes maybe once a week but sometimes he doesn’t do them all leaves some and doesn’t clean the sink or counters. Bottles I used to do it by my self everyday untill second baby it’s just too much to wash 10 bottles in the day and 10 at night or more and they are the dr brown anti colic takes a while to wash and he would help 2-3 times a week then I told him I’ll do morning bottles he can do night bottles he doesn’t do it every night. He was going to wash dinner dishes but didn’t or bottles the next day his day off I did breakfast he said I will wash dishes and bottles I said oh ok but got doubled. When night time came he washed dishes left pans said if I wanted to help him with that or bottles or which one do I want to do I said no I don’t ask everyday that I do it. So he took his time but he was on his phone watching different games and trading all day what bothers me is he leaves his stuff everywhere his work clothes all over the house his towel also I don’t pick it up after a year I noticed he started leaving 5 different work shirts thrown anywhere. I serve his plate he doesn’t like to pick up his plate I serve my 10 year old she cleans up and puts her plate in the sink he will leave it for me to get up when I’m done if I eat dinner and clean up table and his plate he will literally walk away I leave it or if he drinks something or water bottle leaves it on table empty doesn’t put in recycling he also takes forever to change garbage and once a week almost over filling also diapers fills the genie and another garbage bag half full of the Costco white ones. I don’t know what to do I have asked nicely and he says ok nothing changes told him I feel like a servant what do I do or what do I say I’m tired of repeating myself asking an adult
