First time flying with our little one and I feel like there are probably loads of things I wouldn’t even think to bring 😂
Anything that made the airport, take-off/landing, feeding, nappy changes or getting them to sleep easier? Also anything you bought that you thought was essential but ended up being completely pointless?
Give me all your tips please! 🤍

Feed at take off and landing to equalize their ears!

I did a 14hr flight with my husband and 3 month old, so some of my tips may seem a bit OTT.
1)Make little nappy changing packs in zip lock bags that contain a nappy, disposable changing mat and a nappy sack, and allow for 1 per hour on the flight (we didnt actually use that many but he definitely did more poops than normal!). Then each time you do a nappy change, just take a zip lock each time to the bathroom.
2) Pack spare clothes for you/partner and the baby because blowouts do happen!
3)We took a breastfeeding pillow for him to sleep on, when he didnt go down in the bassinet
4) Feed during take off and landing.
5) We found toys etc a complete waste of time because he slept 90% of the flight. The only time he woke up was for a feed or nappy change.
6) Board first on the plane and get yourself set up
7) Take a baby carrier, it makes the airport a lot easier. We took a travel pram as well, of course, and checked it at the gate but kept the carrier on us, so when you land, you're hands free
