My baby for naps in a bright room so she knows is day time, she only naps a long nap if is contact nap, otherwise she doesn't sleep much. She has a little nap in the morning, and evening and a long nap in the afternoon. As soon she rubs her eyes I know she is tired and I just feed her and wait for half and hour and then put her for a nap. I only rock her to sleep for night time otherwise I just pat her bum till she falls asleep

Roughly after an hour and a half wake window. If we're at home, in cot with sleeping bag and white noise on. If we're out, in car seat or buggy. Normally had 3 longer naps and a short nap to bridge the gap to bedtime

Sleepy cues, rocking, daylight/ around noise x

Fed or rocked to sleep, 4 naps a day, usually contact naps but occasionally falls asleep on play mat. Carrier naps on the go as hates the pram. Occasionally sleeps in car seat. Always daylight x

It depends on your babies age! When my boy was a newborn, he’d nap anywhere, anytime with no problem. As he’s become more aware of his surroundings and noise, he naps in a dark room with a noise machine (rain, white noise etc) - we started this change just before 3 months old as he started fighting his naps and bedtime. We will occasionally contact nap if he falls asleep whilst nursing and I don’t need to do anything like eat or shower whilst he naps.
I no longer rock to sleep as I read that once they reach 3 months, they start to form sleep association. I didn’t want to have to continue to rock him to sleep as he gets bigger and heavier so I nurse which makes him sleepy then burp and put him down onto his side in cot drowsy and pat his bum and shush him until he falls asleep.

Is there something I can give my 2 month old for constipation? 🤔

My baby girl is 2 months old, and she recently went through a formula change, she was going regularly, and then all of a sudden she has stopped being regular... its also presenting itself as diarrhea, is that normal??

Soo, what are we doing with our babies?

Morning everyone! Just wondering what a typical day looks like for you? How often is your baby on a play mat or in a bouncer etc?

I'm not really sure what my wake windows should look like and how long she should spend in my arms or on her play mat etc Per wake window / day.

Contact naps

At what age do contact naps become less regular? Don’t get me wrong, I love how serene he looks and love that he feels safest with me and 75% of the time it’s actually nice to just sit down with him and enjoy the moment. However, there are some days where I just feel a little drained from the constant-ness of it and I feel like I’m trying to get things done/look after my needs in his wake windows when he’s happy to go in his chair and watch me but then feel terrible for the lack of interaction with him where he’s my sole focus and tummy time, etc.
