Hi! I’m 9 weeks pregnant and still breastfeeding my 8-month-old, and lately I’ve been really struggling with it.
My supply is still there, but since getting pregnant I’ve become sooo much more sensitive while feeding. Nights are the hardest - he wakes up quite often and very much associates the breast with falling back asleep, so you can imagine the amount of feeding happening overnight 😅 It’s starting to create quite a bit of stress and anxiety for me around breastfeeding.
He’s been EBF until now, but I’m seriously considering introducing formula and combo feeding, especially for an evening/night feed, just to take some of the pressure off me.
Has anyone been in a similar situation — pregnant while breastfeeding a baby this age and then introduced formula? Did combo feeding help? How did your baby take to it, and did it make any difference to the night wakings?
Would really love to hear your experiences 🤍

My daughter was 7 months when I got pregnant again, I started to wean her month 10 as I noticed my supply had dropped, however unlike yourself, we used to give her a bottle of formula most nights. She eventually started to sleep better as she also used to feed to sleep. However the issue I have now is she is 18 months old and I have a 13 week old who I EBF, my older girl keeps asking for the boob even though I weaned her off 8 months ago lol. Once I weaned her off I had a night in a hotel all by myself to sleep, relax, eat and has some me time, I would strongly recommend it, it was amazing and I will be doing it yearly! Xx

My supply was drastically plummeting while EBF and pregnant as well it took a long time to get my son to start taking formula he refused the bottle but just had to keep offering it eventually at 8 months old my supply was practically non existent I was very sad that my breastfeeding journey came to an end
Had my daughter 9 weeks ago and I’m not sure why i feel like my son who is 2 keeps on annoying me and i just want him out of the way and all i can think about is my life without him .. he has autism and makes everything so much harder and I’m 22 trying to juggle all of this i feel crazy i had such a strong bond with my son when i was pregnant but after i have started to feel like i kind of don’t like him and wish he just wasn’t around me has anyone experienced this problem please i feel crazy and horrible i love my son but i just don’t understand why i feel like this

At what age do contact naps become less regular? Don’t get me wrong, I love how serene he looks and love that he feels safest with me and 75% of the time it’s actually nice to just sit down with him and enjoy the moment. However, there are some days where I just feel a little drained from the constant-ness of it and I feel like I’m trying to get things done/look after my needs in his wake windows when he’s happy to go in his chair and watch me but then feel terrible for the lack of interaction with him where he’s my sole focus and tummy time, etc.

Morning everyone! Just wondering what a typical day looks like for you? How often is your baby on a play mat or in a bouncer etc?
I'm not really sure what my wake windows should look like and how long she should spend in my arms or on her play mat etc Per wake window / day.

Hey everyone! I wonder whether I can get some people’s opinions on nursing chairs.. Are they worth it? Do you actually use them? ☺️

How are we doing naps? Wake windows? Sleepy cue? Rocking? Feeding? Dark room? Bright room?

My 10 month old keeps waking up at 5am and we can’t figure out why. He’s usually asleep by 7.30pm and then seems to wake up at 5am. He will then fuss for an hour and eventually falls back asleep. I know it’s not the fact he goes to sleep at 7.30am because we’ve tried later times and it’s not light in his room because we have blackout blinds. Can’t seem to figure out why it’s 5am that he wakes up??
