Reaching out to everyone that had bleeding in early pregnancy but has a positive story to share. I’m 13 weeks and 1 day and have been bleeding on and off since 12 weeks and 3 days. The scan in EPU was normal however in A&E they suspected a subchorionic haematoma. It’s stressful to see bleeding and I’m in need of some positivity.
Also, my heart goes to all of you who have lost a baby. Sorry for not including you in this post. I just need some reassurance.

I had a suspected haematoma that caused bleeding from 6-8 weeks pregnant, which was very stressful as it was my second pregnancy, after a loss. Should have known then that he was going to be trouble 😊 he turns 4 next month. Its really scary but its not necessarily the end ❤️ sending you the biggest hugs and wishing you the best x
Thanks for sharing your story how long did the bleeding last and was it proper bleeding or spotting?

I had bleeding early on in this pregnancy (now 36 weeks).
I had odd spotting on and off for months (from about week 4 onwards) which I was prescribed progesterone for.
I also had a sudden gush of bright red blood at 13 weeks. As I'd had 2 miscarriages previously it was absolutely terrifying.
The scan showed the baby was fine, no hematoma they could see but potentially my placenta was too close to my cervix and that might have caused the bleeding. Thankfully it never happened again and my placenta is now in the perfect place.
I've had so many scans since, this little boy is absolutely perfect, and he is constantly moving about and letting me know he's getting ready to come out.

I had bleeding starting from around 6 weeks of pregnancy up until about 14 weeks. Currently feeding my healthy baby boy as I type.
I was told it was a subchorionic hematoma. It was no longer visible on the ultrasound by the time of my 20 week scan.

I bled at around 10 weeks, and then again about 18 weeks. Each time was so scary but I went and got checked both times and everything was fine, my baby is 4 weeks now! Try not to panic bless you, they said mine was a cervical ectropion which was nothing to worry about!
Hi how was your bleeding? Was it fresh blood and significant or just spotting?
I was told at my 32 week scan they found a second placenta. The first is anterior high. When I had my scan the sonographer said the second one was very low and posterior. She said it was wrapped around the bottom and completely covering the front.
The notes just say posteriorly so I’m a little confused. I spoke with the triage team who said to wait until my next scan where they will measure to see where it is and if it’s covering or close to the cervix I will need a c-section at 36 weeks.
My next scan I will be 36 +2 days so that won’t be helpful! I will go into the hospital tomorrow am for clarification but didn’t know if anyone else has experienced this and what to expect.
My mother in law is coming to stay with us when I would be 41 weeks and my partner has booked 2 weeks off work before she comes. Obviously times won’t work out now but will I be ok, home alone if he takes the first 2 weeks off and
I have no other help before mother in law comes?

I need some advice.
My friend recently told me she was pregnant. About a week or two later, she called me really upset because she thought she might have had a miscarriage, as she'd started bleeding. She had a scan booked for two days later.
On the morning of the scan, I messaged her to ask if she'd had it yet and to wish her all the best. At that point she said she hadn't had the scan yet, so I told her I was praying for her.
I haven't heard anything since. I completely understand that it's private and none of my business, but I also can't stop thinking about her. I don't want to message again and make her feel like I'm prying.
Part of me thinks that if she wanted me to know the outcome, she would have told me already. But another part of me worries that she might just be struggling and not know what to say.
What would you do? Would you send another message just to check in, or would you wait until she tells you when she's ready?
Hubby said I should just leave it if she wanted me to know she would hv told me the outcome .

Did anyone have a planned c-section but still feel traumatised after? All I see is people saying how calm & relaxed they felt but I was absolutely terrified. I couldn’t eat for 2 weeks after birth due to shock! I just want to know if anyone else feels the same as it’s a lonely feeling.

When I was 19 I had a miscarriage, I was only 5 weeks pregnant so very early on.
it’s not something many people know about, my mum knows as she was there with me while It happened and looked after me for the duration of it. 8 months later I fell pregnant with my daughter. She’s 4 now.
The other day my daughter and I are talking and she randomly goes ‘mummy I have a big sister’ I didn’t think anything of it at the time so I just said ‘oh do you darling’ she then goes ‘yeah I have a big sister and she protected me’. My mum was round at the time and we both looked at each other like ‘what’ ..
I then had a weird feeling I said to my daughter ‘how do you know that’ she just shrugged her shoulders and said ‘just do’ and then she walked off with her toys and never mentioned it again. At first I was so confused but then i thought about my miscarriage.
I can’t help but think does my daughter actually know something. I never found out the gender obviously as it was so early on but it is possible she could have had a big sister. Or is it her just talking random childhood rubbish, I mean we all know kids can come out the most bazaar nonsense sometimes . I don’t know really , what do you think. I just thought it was a strange thing for her to just come out with.
