wtf

That’s a lie

It's the socio-economic factors that affect intelligence (family background, income, parent education levels) x

🤣

I know plenty of dumb people who were breastfed 😂
Juat be happy that you’re keeping them fed & alive 💜

kindergarten teachers can’t tell which kids were breastfed vs formula fed. but they can usually tell which kids were read to. you obviously love your child! if you want to give your child a good foundation for learning then read to them 📚 🧠 ❤️

I’ll probably get pounced on for this, so I’ll preface by saying I don’t give a flying fuck how a baby is fed - but wasn’t there a study that breastfed children were more likely to have higher GCSE results?

The folks who are voting “yes” just need to feel better about themselves 😛

It's less to do with breastfeeding more to do with intelligence/ class of the mother. More well off women tend to breastfeed longer or more often, probably due to better access to support and education when compared to those of a lower economic background. More well off women are likely that way due to their jobs, which means they are more likely to be higher educated.
As a lot of intelligence is genetic, these women's children are also likely to be more intelligent. So yes there may be a correlation between breastfeeding and a child's intelligence but correlation does not always equal causation
It's not toward the baby but my husband

Any tips for a newborn baby that is fighting his sleep? I’m finding that from when my baby wakes up for his first morning feed he then won’t settle back down for several hours and fights going back to sleep. You’ll think he’s drifted off and then PING eyes wide open again, he’s then getting himself very overtired. He’s only 17 days old and he’s going 3-4 hours fighting his sleep, whatever we try doesn’t seem to work. Any tips of tricks to try are please welcomed!

Had my baby boy 5 days ago and had an episiotomy as baby wasn’t coming out just had the midwife out and my stiches have came away but no sign of infection but am still really sore especially when going to the toliet. If anyone has had anything similar how long did it take to heal or generally just stop being as sore
