Genuinely interested in what other mum's days look like while on maternity leave. I spend some time cleaning, laundry, doing bottles steralising etc. I break the day up with preparing lunch, maybe a walk but I do spend a lot of time at home with the TV on sometimes it just goes on to the screensaver because I get bored. Sometimes when baby is having a bad day and we're both tired I have put on sensory baby videos or animated book stories like the hungry caterpillar on YouTube on the TV for baby. It is a rare occasion of course but wondering how your days look. What does baby do all day and what do you do? I think it's easy to start questioning how you are doing things when life can be quite isolating at this stage.

I am completely the same tbh, this is exactly how my day looks. I am looking at places to go to meet up with other parents or just activities but its hard as he just turned 4 months and has reflux so if he needs a bottle its a bit more than just bringing the formula with me. I out puffin rock on sometimes and my LO loves it just so we can cuddle and chill from time to time. It is quite lonely x

Mon-Wed i drop of my toddler at nursery. We're back home at 9am. Feeding, playing, then she goes for a nap and I cook, clean etc. She wakes up and we do the feeding playing bit again. Then another nap and a quiet time for me and coffee. The rest of family is back at 4pm. And the chaos begins. Sleep time at 7pm ish 🤣
Thu,Fri i try to have my.babhy sleeping for as long as its a time for me and my toddler, he also is potty training atm. So the TV is on till around 10am then I try to manage the day with both kids.
Hard to admit but I dont go for walks with both of them as toddler is too unpredictable. Baby spends a lot of time in a garden, so as toddler.

I spend a good few hours out of the house each day, I find i can’t stay in as I get bored and house crazy! We do a baby class twice a week and go swimming another day. I usually go for a walk each day, then sometimes just sit in a coffee shop or a bench if it’s nice out for an hour or so on that walk to break the day up and let my little boy nap whilst I’m out. I always find having a baby out people come up and talk to me (usually the older generation) so it’s nice to have a chat with an adult for a bit. In his nap times I do some housework, washing or at the moment I’m slowly decorating our utility (only max half a wall at a time as his naps usually are only 30 minutes 😂). When we are at home we either play on the floor with toys, he plays on his playmat or bouncer or if I need to get ready he watches his baby Einstein aquarium for a bit. I don’t always play directly with him, sometimes I listen to a podcast or a YouTube video whilst letting him play independently.
I’m 37 weeks pregnant and at my ultrasound they said her head is smaller than her body they are saying it looks like microcephaly has anyone else been told this about their baby but they were fine and didn’t have it currently freaking out picture of my most recent face ultrasound

I’ve been told if I’ve got reduced movements to go in but they never say how long they have to be reduced for
I couldn’t make it there the other day and the next day it went back to normal but he’s got a tendency to go a day without moving at all and then going crazy the next day

Anyone here have another baby post c section (either a second c or VBAC)? Curious how long folks waited. I’ve always wanted two close in age, and feel great, just wondering about safety wise (dr recommends 12/18 months between c and conceiving

I slept for 3 hours at home the night before my induction purely because I was so anxious. They was delayed all day so I wasn’t allowed in until late last night. I had finished the pessary + all my monitoring by 2am, woke up with cramps at 4am then woken up for my observations at 6am. So barely slept for 2 nights in a row now. Everyone keeps saying I need to get as much energy as I can for birth but it’s pretty impossible when I’m in pain very close together & in a room full of people. I’m so worried I will be too tired and won’t be able to do this😩

If you have a toddler and soon to give birth to a baby.....
I'm worried that my toddler will feel less important or like the baby is getting the attention etc.
I want to make sure she feels Included as much as possible and not like she's being replaced.
I think she will be an amazing big sister. But thinking what can I do to make sure she never questions my love for her....
Are you worried about the adjustment period 2.
