Time between

The longer you wait the better! I talked to my midwife about this recently and she said the minimum is 10/12 months but it’s better the longer you wait. I definitely want to try a VBAC next time so we’re waiting at least 2 years before conceiving. Physical therapy can also help a ton too. The scar tissue builds up and the layers then all stick together and PT helps break it all up

Fell pregnant when my first (semi-elective c-section) baby was 16 months old. Had a VBAC successfully with no issues.
The age gap is 2 years and 2 weeks between the children.

Just had my second c section today. My first c section was in 2024 and I got pregnant when my son 18 months

21 months for me but I lost two early (conceived at 14 months and 16 months). I couldn’t wait too long because of my age (41 and 43 when I had my two). I ended up with another c-section but all went well with my second.

Had my first via emergency section in Feb 2024. Fell pregnant with my second in November of 2025, and had a planned section in July of 2026 😊

Had my first c section April 2023 then second in march 2026 I was warned atleast 18 months before having another 💙

My daughter was born october 2023 and my second baby is due Januaury 2027 I will be having an elective c-section :)

I have a 1 year old a 2 year old and due in 5 days I had an emergency c section with my 1st then a elective with my second and another with my 3rd

Not medical advice so different for everyone but mine were 18 months apart in age. My first was emergency with an open cut from the middle of my sternum down to my pelvis, the second delivered like a normal c section. I’ve had lots of surgeries in between and everyone’s amazed at how quick my uterus heals. I’m about to have my third but the age gap will be 2 years 3 months
