Baby just keeps moving his head

My 9 week old does not stop moving his head from side to side when I’m trying to put him to sleep. Sometimes he’ll rest face down on my chest. Hes super tired and has been fed but he is constantly fidgeting. I’ve tried burping him but nothing. I keep him upright after feeds but even then he is always moving. It’s as though he can’t get comfy! Anyone’s LO do the same? I just don’t get it

don’t quote me on it but i’m not sure if this is a self soothing method. my little one rubs her face with her hands when she is going to sleep

My son started doing this at 8 / 9 weeks too. I read that it might be irritation from being overtired or over stimulated. I started looking into wake windows and it really helped.

My little boy does this! He sort of pecks at my chest and makes little noises and apparently it’s self soothing when he’s tired and all of a sudden he just falls asleep. If he’s doing it for ages and doesn’t settle though I usually put him in my arms and pat his bum and shush him. It can also be if they’re uncomfortable with wind xx

What do you do during your toddlers tantrums?

My little boy had what I would say was his first tantrum yesterday, and it was over putting his shoes and coat on (i’m sure they’ll be many more to come) but i just continued to put his coat and shoes on an getting his brother ready through the kicking screaming and crying. Is that okay? As soon as we got outside he was fine

Anyone else on the night shift? 😴

Lying on the sofa with one of my girlies asleep on my chest after feeding. She’s 6 weeks and is being so fussy at the moment, crying a lot, so I don’t dare move while she’s settled 😅

Frozen breastmilk

I’ve been freezing so much breast milk & I wonder if it’ll ever be used? Like when would I use it if I’m constantly pumping anyway? 😅
Also how many ounces do you mommas freeze at a time? I’ve been doing 6oz to save bags, 4oz & 3oz. Also how do you go about thawing the breast milk when you’ve got to wait for it to thaw in the fridge? Sigh, this stresses my mom brain out.
