Ultrasound measurements

I had similar with her belly measuring weeks and weeks ahead. My son was the same. I asked the lady who done the ultrasound and she said the measurements on there are outdated and they only use them to find the centile and go by that, so as long as the centile is staying around the same it’s all fine x

I’d honestly say don’t take every measurement as gospel. I have gestational diabetes, and at 30 weeks I was told my baby was measuring big, estimated at 3.8lb and around the 58th centile, so I was being told to expect a big baby. Then at my 36-week growth scan, I was told she’d only gained about a pound in 4 weeks and had dropped all the way down to the 10th centile. The consultant was adamant that their sonographers were exceptionally good and that the drop was too drastic to be a measurement mistake, so they were concerned that there could be an issue with my placenta and that it might be failing.
I was then told there wasn’t really anything they could do other than bring me back for another scan at 36 weeks, so as you can imagine, those two weeks were incredibly stressful and I was so anxious and worried about her. I went for the scan last week and was then told she was absolutely perfect, no issues whatsoever, and weighed 6lb bang on at 36 weeks! 🤣
