When your child is having a tantrum... Do you ever just think in your head shut the hell up?
I feel bad for thinking it. But I'm only human. Thankfully I don't project and remain patient on the exterior. But interior I'm shouting in my head

Every single time yes
I get you’re upset but why do you have to be so LOUDLY upset 😭
It’s so much easier to be empathetic when my eardrums aren’t being assaulted

My daughter has had one tantrum and I threw myself on the floor crying louder, harder, and moving like a leach on the lake. She never threw one again😂 the whining does get to me and I just can’t

In my head I roll my eyes and I think “this is payback”….so I just roll with it. That being said, I’m only at the start of tantrums so I’m sure it’ll change 😁

Yes every single time!

Depending on my mood, when am overstimulated or got to much going. But when my mind is clear and calm I just feel greatfull.

All the time 😅 I get really overstimulated really easy (thanks ADHD!). I've worked really hard not to project and keep calm but on the inside I'm shouting "omg shut up!"
I promise every parent thinks this way, they probably just don't admit it haha

I had both of mine screaming at me the other week and I just went ahhhhhhhhhhh aswell both looked at me like I’d finally lost the plot and started laughing 🥴 now I tend to sit down, close my eyes and count, again look at me like wtf but I prefer them to be confused than shouting because they wanted a different colour bowl.

I don’t but I think I’m an outlier. It’s tough to be patient with them, especially when it’s obvious to us that it’s not a big deal (whatever it is they’re throwing the tantrum about). I try to practice patience and empathy.
Bottom line: it’s TOUGH. As long as you’re not shouting at them, you can think whatever you like. Whatever helps you get through the moment, you know?
I feel awful writing this. Me and my lovely husband haven’t been together long - 14 months which I know sounds crazy! I love him so much. We have a 5 week old who I adore more than anything. But I miss it being just me and my husband so much. We’re snapping at each other and I feel stressed all the time. It was a really difficult pregnancy towards the end and this is maybe even more difficult. I’m mourning the ease of our old life (which I know didn’t last long!!) I’m a bit sensitive and wanted to just put this out there. Any insights?

Hi I need help
my 4 almost 5 month old is feeding so much at night- 4 times last night. She is combi fed, she doesn’t have many bottled tho, only 1 a day and she only had around 70mls. She feeds often in the day every 2hrs ish. I’m not sure what I can do to stretch out the feeds in the day or night. I’m so tired of waking up so often now. Last night she fed 12:00qm, 1.30am, 3.30 am and 5.30 it’s killer I try and soothe her other ways but it doesn’t work.

When the time comes to start collecting colostrum in a couple weeks, how is everyone doing it??? All the tips and advice welcome please!
This is my second baby but with my first I couldn’t do it all! Just couldn’t work out how to do it / get it in the syringes, even though I did go on to breastfeed with a good supply. I have already started leaking a bit this pregnancy.
I have ordered some 1ml syringes but nothing else yet.

Hi moms, I really need some advice from other exclusively breastfeeding moms who may have experienced something similar. 🥺
My baby is exclusively breastfed, but she sometimes goes 11–12 days without pooping. When she does poop, the stool is usually soft and mustard yellow.
I have tried lactulose as recommended—the first time it worked, but the second time it didn’t. After that, the doctor recommended glycerin suppositories. Sometimes after waiting around 12 days, I have to use glycerin to help her poop. There have even been times when she didn’t poop after the glycerin, so I had to wait another few days and try again.
I’m getting really worried because I don’t know if this is normal for exclusively breastfed babies or if anyone else’s baby has gone this long without pooping.
Have any of your exclusively breastfed babies experienced this? How long would your baby go without pooping, and what helped? I would really appreciate hearing your experiences. ❤️
